Serie A Fantasy Round 13 Top Picks
We look to our expert @FPL_Crisk as he provides us with the Serie A Fantasy Round 13 top picks. Round 12 saw wins for Juventus, Inter, Genoa and thrilling draws between Lecce v Milan and Sassuolo v Salernitana .
Before we take a look at who makes the cut this week, we need to highlight how important this article could be for managers. Knowing who the Serie A Fantasy Round 13 top picks are could be hugely beneficial when it comes to mini-league position and overall rank. That is because it can help with things like transfers and captaincy.
Goalkeepers – Michele Di Gregorio (€5.4m – 6.2%)
Monza have proven time and time again to be a team which is way more than the sum of their parts. However, Di Gregorio has been amazing on his own, being second best for save percentage, and first for total number of saves (which translates into easy fantasy points).
Ivan Provedel (€6.2m – 15.7%)
Last year’s best goalkeeper has had a slow start to the season, but his form is returning to its best. Despite playing away from home, a trip at Salernitana in the early kick-off is a very favourable fixture (as the home team are bottom of the table with only five points).
Defenders – Sam Beukema (€5.0m – 8.8%)
Bologna’s defence have suffered many hits during the first part of the season, mainly due to many injuries to key players, but Beukema has been a constant presence. His new partnership with Calafiori has been very solid until now, and Torino seem to have trouble finding the back of the net.
Denzel Dumfries (€5.6m – 19.5%) & Gleison Bremer (€5.8m – 33.5%)
Two for one, mostly because with Allegri’s very defensive style I am expecting a low scoring game. Pick and choose depending on the team you feel like having the best chance at winning. Bremer is the highest scoring defender in the game, while Dumfries has the chance of playing 90 minutes with Bastoni, Pavard and Cuadrado injured and Darmian relegated to RCB.
Midfielders – Andrea Colpani (€5.2m – 23.8%)
He’s leading all midfielders on points, and can count four attacking returns in the last five games (despite never playing the full 90 minutes). He’s also received his first national team call-up, so he’s going to want to keep up the good form.
Domenico Berardi (€10.4m – 20.8%)
In a Round with so many tricky fixtures for so many top teams, it’s not a surprise to see Berardi in this list as a premium pick. Empoli away is also a very favourable fixture, I wouldn’t let their victory against Napoli get into your heads too much.
Forwards – Joshua Zirkzee (€5.0m – 15.3%)
Torino usually have a pretty decent defence, but there’s no denying that right now Zirkzee is the best cheap forward in the game, especially with penalties now fully in his arsenal.
Romelu Lukaku (€9.2m – 22.4%)
In all honestly, this is a bad week for forwards. Lukaku stands out as the least bad premium, with Udinese usually very defensive, but not as difficult to break as other better teams.
