Rumour Mill: Will Traore leave Wolves this window?
The transfer window rumour mill is rumbling again. Adama Traore has been muted with a move to Tottenham for a number of seasons now. However the rumour that this transfer may happen during the January window has now intensified.
Traore has made 160 appearances in the Premier League for Wolves scoring 8 goals and registering 14 assists.
This season Traore started the opening five fixtures of the campaign for Wolves but since then he has only made five further starts from the 20 matches he has been part of.
Indeed Traore has managed just 11, 24, 12 and 15 minutes in the last four Gameweeks.
Spurs tried to sign Traore in pre-season however were unwilling to meet Wolves’s asking fee.
Fabrizio Romano spoke on Chris Cowlin’s YouTube channel, where he discussed how highly rated Traore is by both Conte and Fabio Paratici who is in charge of transfers at Spurs. Romano said:
Super-appreciated by Fabio Paratici, super-appreciated. Super-appreciated by Antonio Conte.
