Most popular transfers for Gameweek 13

The new round of Fantasy Premier League is just around the corner. Many within the community are already making their moves ahead of the new round so with the help of the Official Premier League website we highlight the most popular transfers for Gameweek 13.

Checking out the most popular transfers for Gameweek 13 can be really helpful to fantasy managers. Whether it be due to injuries, bans, player and team form, the transfers other people are making can help bring clarity to our own decisions.

The most popular transfers in

  • Cole Palmer (£5.2m) – The Chelsea midfielder is the highest transferred in player this week with 353010 new managers. Palmer faces Newcastle this week but the Magpies have been struggling to manage with key injuries. Palmer has also hit at least one return in five of his last six games and takes the Chelsea penalties.
  • William Saliba (£5.4m) – Saliba is Arsenal’ most reliable defender in terms of minutes. This could explain why he is the second most transferred in player ahead of the deadline with 321727 new owners. Saliba also scored in his most recent match which has added to his appeal.
  • Jarrod Bowen (£7.7m) – Bowen is in the middle of an impressive run of form – bagging a return in three of his last four games. He is the third most popular transfer in this week with 303476 new managers. Bowen picked up an injury during the international break and did not train with the squad on Friday according to reliable sources.
  • Bryan Mbeumo (£6.9m) – It is interesting that Mbeumo is the fourth most transferred in player this week with 200658 new owners. This is because he faces Arsenal up next. He does however have some great fixtures after that which could explain a large part of his appeal. Mbeumo also collected two double-digit hauls in his last four matches.
  • Bukayo Saka (£8.7m) – Arsenal have a tough match against Brentford next. However, Saka has been one of the most consistent players in the game this season. In fact, the midfielder has bagged at least one return in nine of his 11 matches. This could explain why Saka sits fifth with 197604 transfers in.

The most popular transfers out

  • James Maddison (£7.9m) – The Tottenham midfielder is the most sold player as we approach the deadline with 764575 transfers out. This is because he recently picked up an injury which could rule him out until January 14th.
  • Kaoru Mitoma (£6.6m) – Although the Brighton midfielder was injured and sits as the second most sold player this week with 396861 transfers out, he was recently spotted in training. With that in mind a lot of sellers could be regretting their decision to sell him especially if he starts against Nottingham Forest.
  • Cristian Romero (£5m) – The Tottenham centre-back is suspended until December 7th. This could be the main reason Romero is the third most transferred out player this week with 223994 sellers.
  • Ben White (£5.8m) – Arsenal defender White sits fourth this week with 223142 managers selling him. White missed the latest match against Burnley and is currently flagged by the game.
  • Son Heung-Min (£9.7m) – The Tottenham midfielder has two tough fixtures ahead and has blanked in both of his last two matches. This could play a major role as to why 154164 managers have decided to sell him.
