An overview of the FPL Gameweek so far from the current round of top-flight action.

GAMEWEEK 29

There were three Premier League matches on Saturday, with a further six more taking place on Sunday. Then, Monday night sees Crystal Palace host Man City.


GAMEWEEK: SATURDAY

Brighton 0-2 Liverpool

Top scorers: Matip (12), Alisson (9), Salah (8), Luis Diaz (8), Alexander-Arnold (6), Robertson (6), Keita (6), van Dijk (6)

There was a cameo appearance from Diogo Jota but Mohamed Salah left proceedings with a knock that will concern FPL owners.

Brentford 2-0 Burnley

Top scorers: Toney (12), Pinnock (8), Jansson (7), Eriksen (6), Raya (6), Henry (6), Ajer (6)

Following his second goal, Ivan Toney was shown a yellow card for removing his shirt in celebration. Brentford move up to 30 points but Burnley missed the chance to move out of the bottom three.

Man United 3-2 Tottenham

Top scorers: Ronaldo (17), Sancho (7), Kane (6)

Bruno Fernandes missed out completely due to illness.

GAMEWEEK: SUNDAY

Chelsea 1-0 Newcastle

Top scorers: Chalobah (9), Christensen (8), Sarr (7), Havertz (7), Jorginho (6), Mendy (6)

Places on the bench for Marcos Alonso, Thiago Silva and Romelu Lukaku although the latter made an appearance. Yellow cards for Antonio Rudiger and Kai Havertz.

Everton 0-1 Wolves

Top scorers: Coady (14), Kilman (8), Marcal (7), Neves (6), Sa (6), Saiss (6), Jonny (6)

There was no place in the squad for Dominic Calvert-Lewin, whilst there was a second half red card for Jonjoe Kenny. In addition to his goal and clean sheet, Conor Coady was booked.

Leeds 2-1 Norwich

Top scorers: Rodrigo (8), McLean (7), Gelhardt (6)

Southampton 1-2 Watford

Top scorers: Cucho (12), Elyounoussi (8), Kucka (7)

Although Armando Broja started on the bench, he played the whole second half. Furthermore, there was no appearance at all for Tino Livramento.

West Ham 2-1 Aston Villa

Top scorers: Benrahma (11), Ramsey (10), Fornals (8), Yarmolenko (6)

As expected, the hurt Jarrod Bowen was not involved. But there are new injuries for Lucas Digne, Michail Antonio and Aaron Cresswell.

Arsenal 2-0 Leicester

There was a late cameo from Emile Smith Rowe.
