Notes
- Philly have a ~38% chance of a clean sheet against Montreal on Wednesday, making Andre Blake an easy pick on the front end of my ‘keeperoo. Only San Diego can beat Philly’s clean sheet odds, so CJ Dos Santos will be my fallback should Blake fail to keep a clean sheet. However, I will likely pivot to Andrew Thomas should Dos Santos still be out for Wednesday but in contention for the weekend fixture.
- In defence, I’ve paired Blake and Dos Santos with Kai Wagner and Christopher McVey, respectively. With two home games and plenty of attacking upside, Andy Najar is another straightforward addition to my backline.
- My remaining defenders are scrub candidates, with a 5-3-2 formation looking optimal given the size of the DGW. Anders Dreyer, Hany Mukhtar and Albert Rusnák all play twice at home, making them easy inclusions in my midfield.
- My other two midfield spots are up for grabs. Based on current form, I’ve gone for Pep Biel and Evander, although Martín Ojeda also appeals.
- Philip Zinckernagel is also in my thoughts given Chicago’s excellent away numbers and favourable opponents this week.
- Upfront, Lionel Messi and Sam Surridge are no-brainers, with the Inter Miami number 10 once again the standout captaincy option.
- My third forward spot is between Denis Bouanga and Chucky Lozano. Bouanga gets the nod as he probably has the higher ceiling and Lozano is one yellow card from suspension.

Notes
- It’s a big DGW this week and I may opt for 5-3-2 or go here and scrub a defender if Malanda gets a clean.
- Captain will be Leo, though two road games may see him not get two starts, but we shall see.
- SD have two home matches, so I’m loading up there with Dreyer and McVey.
- Biel has two good matchups this week for CLT who hopefully is getting on a roll.
- Chalk-ish in midfield for sure with Evander and Gil.
