Last Minute Gameweek 22 Tips
There’s plenty of activity in the forward market for the Last Minute Gameweek 22 tips.
The community provide their advice, with moves away from the injured Harry Kane to the in-form Danny Ings.
Keepers
Plenty of managers are making goalkeeper transfers and so FPL Swede has an informative thread for the Gameweek 22 tips. Fabianski, Henderson and Ryan are all in the frame and your chip situation could prove crucial.NICK POPE HAS TO GO? (Thread)?
— FPL Swede (@FPL_Swe) January 7, 2020
Inside the top 10k, Pope is the favorite choice out of any goalkeeper with an ownership of 32.5%

Liverpool
The big decision going forward is Mane, Salah or both. Adam Hopcroft crunches the numbers on their link-up play and concludes that one does not cover the other. Therefore, perhaps we need to squeeze both in our squads before the Double Gameweek.Salah has 19 goals since start of 2019
— Adam Hopcroft (@ahopcroft13) January 3, 2020
Assists from those goals:
Firmino – 3
Robertson – 2
TAA – 2
Mane – 2
Mane has 25 goals since start of 2019
Assists:
TAA – 5
Robertson – 4
Firmino – 3
Salah – 0
Hard to cover Salah/Mane goals unless you own Salah/Mane
Chips
Blank and Double Gameweek Guru, Ben Crellin, has all the key information for the upcoming fixtures. He’s also proposing the popular chip strategy to adopt, with the potential of using a Triple Captain chip in the looming double at the end of this month.?
— Ben Crellin (@BenCrellin) January 3, 2020
The popular chip strategy will be:
Free Hit in Blank GW31❄️
Wildcard in GW36
Bench Boost in DGW37 ?
Triple Captain in a smaller DGW ?
But be flexible – wait until we get more info on the Blanks before committing to a strategy that you think will work best for your team.
Form
FPL Spectrum debuts in the Gameweek 22 tips, with an impressive infographic demonstrating form for the season so far. Salah, Alexander-Arnold and Kevin De Bruyne are the only players who are blue, with their legend status cemented.Mapping of recent form for all active FPL assets up to GW21.#FPL #FPLCommunity pic.twitter.com/rr72KFg41S

Bounces
In Tom’s final podcast for a while, there’s plenty of discussion on new manager bounces in the Who Got The Assist? podcast. Arsenal assets are considered at length, with some form starting to come to the fore under Mikel Arteta.WGTA Pod 94 – Hammering out DGW Plans ?

Targets
Marc Rubinstein has provided a detailed thread on target ranks for the end of the season given current ranks at just over the half-way stage. The probability chart is particularly informative for fantasy managers to understand their limits. An #FPL thread:

Over halfway through the season, what’s a realistic target for a year-end rank?
Based on last year’s data, there’s not that much overall movement in the rankings left. Correlation between GW21 rank and final rank is 0.86. pic.twitter.com/RKVi6PerFP

Planning
FPL General provides a word of warning when it comes to planning for the rest of the season. Much of the focus this week has been around Liverpool players, but there’s plenty of football to be played before their Double Gameweek in 24.All the talk is about DGW24, you'd think it was this weekend.
— FPL General (@FPLGeneral) January 7, 2020
Don't forget there's two Gameweeks before it.
Get a fixture ticker in front of you when making your transfers this week rather than having tunnel vision for 24 & triple Liverpool.
Captains
FPL Connect crunches the captaincy numbers in the latest metric article. Vardy and KDB are the front runners in the community, but this interesting analysis suggests that the armband would be better placed with a Liverpool attacker.? NEW ARTICLE ?

Injuries
There’s been plenty of injuries reported over the last ten days, with the biggest news coming from Spurs, Aston Villa and Leicester. Jamie Vardy is back for the weekend, but Tom Heaton and Harry Kane are out with long-term injuries.Brendan Rodgers confirms Jamie Vardy is "fine" after missing the last two games due to a tight calf. Wes Morgan (groin) will "probably" miss the next couple of games. Benkovic (knee) was a precautionary withdrawal in the cup. "He should return to training [this week]." #LCFC

Fixtures
Finally, Planet FPL provides a thread on an outside chance of a treble gameweek at the end of the season. There are a sequence of events that will need to occur for this to become reality, but it could impact chip strategies earlier in the season.Although incredibly unlikely…
— Planet #FPL (James) (@PlanetFPLPod) January 8, 2020
A Treble Gameweek remains a possibility
A TGW37 Treble is not an impossibility if one of Man City or Arsenal reach the last 4 in Europe & progress well in the FA Cup
Should it affect our DGW24 plans?
