Following a break in the schedule, the Gameweek 22 team returns with flexibility of two free transfers.
With a triple up on Liverpool already for the side, there’s an eye on a goalkeeper transfer before Double Gameweek 24.

Gameweek 21 Review
Gameweek 21 brought a green arrow, with plenty of luck for the side. Jamie Vardy’s absence through injury allowed Cantwell to come off the bench with a goal. Two clean sheets saved the defence, after a tricky start.
Vice Captain Kevin De Bruyne disappointed, with a choice of Liverpool midfielder seen as too big a rotation risk. Both Salah and Mane delivered, with Maddison profiting despite some fire sales.
Gameweek 22 Team
There’s two free transfers this week and plenty of flexibility. The key issue with the squad going forward is four tough upcoming games for Nick Pope. I’ll be holding my transfers until after Friday’s press conferences, but I’ll be transferring out Pope and saving the other transfer. Jamie Vardy takes the armband for a long overdue goal and baby celebration, ahead of Kevin De Bruyne who has the best fixture.
Mat Ryan for his fixtures, and Lukas Fabianski for DGW24 were both considered as Pope replacements. Eventually, I settled on Dean Henderson – he has form and fixtures, with seven clean sheets already for Sheffield United this season. I’m likely to play the Free Hit chip in the week where he’s ineligible to face parent club Manchester United.
The team is ranked at 257,299 with 1191 points. All chips are still in tact. Team value lies at £105.6 million, with £0.1 million in the bank.
