Last Minute Gameweek 11 Tips

FPL Gameweek 38 Tips

Manchester City assets are firmly in our thoughts ahead of the Gameweek 11 Tips.

Raheem Sterling looks set to be a popular armband pick after crucially being rested in the midweek round of cup games.

Value

As premiums falter, it’s the value players who need to be considered to gain a crucial edge for the Gameweek 11 tips. Adam Hopcroft looks at the top scoring players at a budget friendly price and the Foxes midfielders are quickly catching Teemu Pukki and Mason Mount.

Podcast

In the latest episode of the Always Cheating podcast, Josh and Brandon discuss disappointing performances from Callum Wilson, plus rotation frustrations surrounding Sergio Aguero. Raheem Sterling can do no wrong.

Stats

There’s big concerns for managers hanging on to Spurs and Arsenal attackers over the next few weeks. They lie towards the bottom of the big chances charts, with a serious lack of creativity in their last three games.

Injuries

Ben Dinnery provides an update on the fitness of Manchester United assets, following some knocks picked up in the midweek League Cup games. Marcus Rashford scored a brace and is hoping to be available – he’s in great form and the fixtures look good too so fingers crossed for him.

Potential

That man Rashford has performed close to his underlying expected statistics over the last three games. Raheem Sterling looks to have even greater potential than the 18 points scored, with Aston Villa’s Wesley also under consideration – the fixtures are very mixed though.

Defenders

Trent Alexander-Arnold has had a quiet few weeks, with just one assist and one bonus point from his last four games. However, the underlying statistics remain mightily impressive and with the fixtures turning soon, more fantasy points could be just around the corner.

Aubameyang

Aubameyang owners will be feeling very frustrated that his unbeaten run came to and end so abruptly and has since been followed up with three blanks. Is it time to downgrade him to Jamie Vardy, who looks nailed on for 90 minutes every single game?

Questions

The Fantasy Football Scout veterans answer your big questions for the Gameweek 11 Tips. Callum Hudson-Odoi was benched last weekend, following three consecutive assists and then played 90 minutes midweek. Does his gametime security make him too much of a risk?

Preview

Let’s Talk FPL’s Andy has another popular YouTube video packed with FPL Gameweek 11 tips. Sergio Aguero is a hot topic, given his current rotation woes. It’s tougher than ever to call Pep’s lineup this weekend, with both Aguero and Jesus playing significant minutes midweek.

Tielemans

While most fantasy managers are rushing to get Jamie Vardy in their teams, Youri Tielemans looks to be the best candidate from Leicester’s midfield. He’s certainly an easier acquisition at his price point, and he’s providing the most creativity for the Foxes.

Captains

Finally, FPL Connect returns with another captaincy metric. Kevin De Bruyne is in the captaincy conversation alongside Raheem Sterling. It could be a tough call, but Sterling’s rest midweek suggests he’s due a start and he does have a higher points ceiling.
