FPL Gameweek 12 Preview: Community XI
Premium options go under the microscope ahead of FPL Gameweek 12, with Liverpool hosting Manchester City.
A straight swap from Mo Salah to Sadio Mane looks to be a popular move, and many are losing patience with Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne.
I) Editor
Mo Salah looked to be high on the transfers out list for FPL Gameweek 12, but his performance in the Champions League might have persauded some managers to keep the faith. The fact he played for 90 minutes suggests that the ankle injury he’s carrying has improved.

II) Andy
Andy from Let’s Talk FPL is looking to make some bold transfers and potentially take a points hit this weekend. Raheem Sterling is the player heading for the chopping block, with Manchester City’s form and fixtures looking questionnable.

III) Pundits
Captaincy looks wide open in FPL Gameweek 12, with many avoiding premium players from Liverpool and Manchester City given their face off. Fantasy Football Pundits bring the poll, with Tammy Abraham and Jamie Vardy both looking like popular options.

IV) Dinnery
Mason Mount might have been included in the captaincy conversation if it wasn’t for the injury he sustained in Tuesday’s explosive Champions League 4-4 draw with Ajax. Injury guru, Ben Dinnery, provides an update, with hope for a quick recovery.
Looks to be an ankle injury.
Lampard will be hoping for another quick recovery from the youngster….
Suffered a similar injury in Rd 1 (vs Valencia) but returned five days later to face Liverpool.

V) Crellin
Anthony Martial and James Maddison could be popular replacements if Mount is due to be out long-term. Ben Crellin compares the statistics for these two popular transfers in; it could be a classic case of goalscorer against assister.

VIII) Hopcroft
Adam Hopcroft takes on the analysis of our out of favour premium players, with Manchester City’s Raheem Sterling and Kevin De Bruyne compared. Many are considering whether to stick or twist: Sterling has the form but De Bruyne could provide the value.

IX) Cheaters
A move down from a Manchester City midfielder to a Leicester attacker, to free up valuable funds elsewhere, could be an option. Youri Tielemans has caught the eye of the Hail Cheaters, with two goals and one assist in his last four. The fixtures are excellent too.
Youri Tielemans. Like him, love him, or hate him, #FPL managers?
Seems like great value at 6.5m given Leicester’s form, fixtures, and price. pic.twitter.com/3HJo7kftp2

X) Bakar
One man who is a must-own this season is Sheffield United’s John Lundstram. It’s not too late to pick up this out-of-position, bargain-priced defender who’s actually playing as a creative midfielder. Make sure he’s in your team and start him every single week.
Best in his team for shots in the box, big chances created
2nd for pass completion, big chances, expected goals
3rd for recoveries, blocks, interceptions, penalty area touches, expected assists and goal involvementAre you for real John Lundstram? ?

XI) XI
Finally, the aptly named FPL XI has produced a thread detailing his thoughts on whether we should have Mo Salah or Sadio Mane in our FPL teams. It’s a big decision to be made and is now all the more difficult now that their prices are separated by just £0.3 million.
