Gameweek 9 Team 2019/20 - Fantasy Football Community

Momentum is with me, as I hunt another green arrow for the Gameweek 9 team.

There’s high hopes that the yellow flags disappear and flexibility with two free transfers to work with.

Gameweek 8 Review

Gameweek 8 was a miserable one for many, but I was thrilled to rise up 400k in the rankings with 46 points. Many managers benefited from the hauls of Abraham and Mount. Clean sheets from Pope and Lundstram (who many managers benched) were important for the size of the arrow, and Haller finally delivered some much needed points too. The less said about the premium players the better.

The two free transfers have been burning a hole in our pockets, with numerous tantalising options for the upcoming period. There was a certain lure from Bournemouth and Leicester who both have form and fixtures on their side.

Pukki, Haller, Salah and Pieters were all at risk. In the end. Salah’s yellow flag and the lure of Wilson proved too much. Mane replaces Salah and Wilson comes in for Pukki and gets the armband! Captaincy was a tough one, with negatives for going with Liverpool or Manchester City players in tough away games.

The team is ranked at 1,068,189 with 431 points. All chips are still in tact, except the wildcard. Team value lies at £102.4 million, with £0.0 million in the bank.
