Using the PLANFPL website and its fantastic tools we present to you the Gameweek 6 best free hit team.

Goalkeepers

Doubling up on the Arsenal defence, the best backline in the league statistically, could be hugely rewarding. They go into their next match with a great chance to keep a clean sheet against newly promoted Leicester City. The cheapest and most reliable route into the backline is David Raya (£5.6m).

Enabling the rest of the team is Crystal Palace’s Matt Turner (£4m).

Defenders

To complete the Arsenal defensive double up Gabriel (£6m) makes his way into the starting XI. As well as benefitting from the Arsenal clean sheet Gabriel scored in each of his last two league matches, displaying his ever-present attacking potential.

Another player with huge attacking threat is Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7m). Liverpool have a lovely away fixture against a poor Wolves side and their full-back continues to lead the way amongst defenders for distribution metrics and non-penalty expected goal involvement.

Aston Villa are yet to keep a clean sheet in the league this season but this week could see their first as they face newly promoted Ipswich. The most reliable route into the backline and at a budget price is Ezri Konsa (£4.5m) who scored in his most recent match.

Nottingham Forest have maintained some brilliant underlying defensive metrics so far so Murillo (£4.5m) sits first on the bench. In the extremely unlikely event that one of the starting XI don’t play he will feature. He is joined by Ipswich’s Jacob Greaves (£4m) who helps to enable the rest of the squad.

Midfielders

No team in the league have conceded more shots in the box than West Ham and for that reason Brentford penalty taker Bryan Mbeumo (£7.1m) makes the cut. Mbeumo goes into his next match off the back of scoring four goals in his first five matches.

An even cheaper option with great potential this week is Antoine Semenyo (£5.6m). Slowly becoming a talisman for Bournemouth recently Semenyo faces a Southampton side who have shipped more big chances than any other side so far.

After a long and anticipated wait Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers (£5.1m) bagged his first returns of the season against Wolves in the previous match. This week is a good opportunity to continue that form as he clashes with a ropey Ipswich defence next up.

The home fixture is seemingly irresistible from an Arsenal investment perspective. Main man and penalty taker Bukayo Saka (£10m) is one of two players who have returned in every single match this season so far.

Completing the midfield is Luiz Diaz (£7.9m). Liverpool continue to dominate for total big chances and shots in the box and their most in-form attacker is the Colombian who has produced three double-digit hauls in his last four matches.

Forwards

Only Liverpool can match Aston Villa’s 21 big chances this season and leading their frontline is Ollie Watkins (£9m). As well as ranking second worst for big chances conceded this season Ipswich face a striker who has matched Erling Haaland for big chances total (10).

Talking of the Norwegian Erling Haaland (£15.3m) also eases himself into the starting XI. Haaland goes into his next match against Newcastle off the back of scoring 10 goals in his first five games. Newcastle have also been far from convincing defensively so far which could indicate trouble next up.

Enabling the team and featuring for Southampton recently is Ross Stewart (£4.5m) who is unlikely to play for us.

Note: Those that cannot afford this draft due to team value could drop Murillo to another £4m defender as everyone in the starting XI is almost certain to start.
