Gameweek 15 Team
An injury to Aguero has forced transfer activity for the Gameweek 15 team.
Should Harry Kane or Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang come into our Gameweek 15 team as a replacement?
Gameweek 15 Squad
Here’s how the squad is looking ahead of the deadline. Just one free transfer is an issue for our Gameweek 15 team. The team is currently ranked at 3.5k, with 0.3 million in the bank. Team value lies at 103.9 million. Robertson and Aguero are currently flagged, with the latter almost certain to miss out. Robertson is an issue: it would make sense not to risk him if he has a knock, particularly when he is due a rest anyway. With Bennett losing his place last time out, the defence suddenly looks thin.Gameweek 15 Transfers
Option 1: Aguero to Aubameyang (1FT) Option 2: Aguero/Robertson to Kane/Alexander-Arnold (2FT) It’s a close call on strategy this week. First off: Kane provides a consistent starting spot every week and a captain option right through the festive period. Aubameyang is the more explosive, but will see more rotation and less trustworthy for captain. The advantage of the straight swap is that it doesn’t require a points hit. Short term, the Manchester United away fixture is reasonable as they have no fit defenders and then it’s Huddersfield. However, Spurs have a manager-less Southampton side and a weak Burnley side in two of their next three games: fixtures Kane managed a hat trick in last season. He still appears to be playing deep, but Spurs are finding their form. The other issue is the defence in general: a -4 for a defender is generally ill-advised, but with concerns over Bennett, Alonso and Robertson, plus rotation in midweek games inevitable, the risk of not fielding a full side seems a little neutralised with Alexander-Arnold, who is providing better value. Liverpool defenders remain essential.Gameweek 15 Team
With things just about swinging in the favour of Option 2, this is the planned Gameweek 15 lineup. The plan is to hold off on transfers until very close to the deadline, in case any fresh news crops up for the squad. The starting XI picks itself and with Kane having a plum home fixture, plus a very small rotation risk, the armband seems obvious too. There’s options on the bench should they be required.BEFORE YOU GO….
