FPL Gameweek 9 Review
Gameweek 9 brought a decent return and another green arrow, despite the points hit failing to pay off. Selling Heung-Min Son could have been an error, with both transfers in of Ziyech and Watkins failing to return. There’s high hopes to continue this form with the Best FPL Team GW10.
There are hopes that sticking with Mo Salah will pay off in the long run and the team is in much better shape now in it’s 3-4-3 formation, acquired through that points hit last weekend.
Best FPL Team GW10
With one free transfer available, with Manchester City assets the top of the agenda for the Best Team for Gameweek 10. Manchester City have the best fixtures over the next four games and arguably present the best captain picks for this weekend too.
With almost no funds in the bank, the only way of acquiring my best Manchester City attacker Kevin De Bruyne without a hit would be by swapping out Mo Salah – which doesn’t seem wise. Given Manchester City’s lack of consistency in recent weeks, I’d rather see an upturn in form before jumping on board. An impressive performance this weekend could see me using two transfers in Gameweek 11 and selling Harry Kane to shuffle more funds into the midfield for De Bruyne.
Captain options in Gameweek 10 FPL are between Bruno Fernandes, Mo Salah and Dominic Calvert-Lewin. Bruno Fernandes has the away form and Dominic Calvert-Lewin has the best fixture on paper, but I find Liverpool attackers more reliable options for the captaincy so right now Mo Salah has the armbamd. He should be fit to start the weekend.
At the time of writing, the Gameweek 10 FPL team is ranked at 1,036,351 with 522 points. All chips are available. Team value lies at £101.1 million, with £0.1 million in the bank.
