The Fantasy Football Community Gameweek 8 Preview
With the International Break now finally over, let’s review what the FPL Community have had to say about Gameweek 8.
Captains
First up, we look at the best FPL captain picks for Gameweek 8, with my article for fplbet. My twitter followers will be pleased to see that my clueless husband is back with a hair-raising (and probably eyebrow raising) pick for this week. There’s also a preview and differentials article for Gameweek 8. Hopefully one day my husband will make a statistical based decision in his FPL team, rather than looking at a showbiz perspective. It’s another Sword v Shield captain dilemma. I’m going to be going with the Shield this week, it is hard to look past Harry Kane.Gameweek 8 Key Players On the topic of Kane, he is the headliner pick once again in the latest blog on the Fantasy Football Fix site. Their statistics based analysis has an incredible record. 2 Manchester City midfielders also feature for Gameweek 8, but maybe not the ones you were anticipating. It’s worth noting that I’ve owned 1 Manchester City player all season, and that was De Bruyne for his 3 blanks between Gameweeks 1 and 3. That probably explains my miserable rank. Forwards
We are now looking to reinvest cash in our midfields, given the injuries to some big name premium forwards. I’ve got Morata to deal with. I’ll be looking out for any injury news in the press conferences tomorrow. However, I’m looking to downgrade him to Vardy or Joselu in Gameweek 8 so that I can load up on the Manchester City midfield. Twelth Man Times provides some excellent statistical analysis on who deserves our investment in their latest article.Got an article that you’d like featured?
