Goalkeepers
There aren’t many good opportunities to start Martin Dubravka, but this week could be one of them. Burnley sit at the top of the Fantasy Football Fixture Ticker this week, so we could well see him pick up a clean sheet.
Burnley teammate Václav Hladký fills a gap on the bench, helping enable funds elsewhere.
Defenders
There doesn’t appear to be many teams with obvious clean sheet potential, so backing Arsenal and their goal-threat centre-back Gabriel should be an easy decision.
Another defender with significant goal threat is Crystal Palace wing-back Daniel Munoz. Munoz ranks second best among all defenders for non-penalty expected goal involvement this season.
Manchester City rank among the top four sides for expected goals conceded, so we could argue that they are due a clean sheet. A home match against Everton could be just what they and Josko Gvardiol need to achieve that.
First on the bench and ready to come on off needed is defcon machine Marcos Senesi of Bournemouth. He is also joined by Burnley’ Maxime Esteve, who likely won’t feature at all.

Midfielders
Arsenal’ excellent form makes them extremely appealing this week against a leaky Fulham. Their standout option is potential penalty taker Bukayo Saka who netted in his previous game.
One player who has started exceptionally well since joining Tottenham is Mohammed Kudus. The Ghanian has produced a huge five assists and one goal, and could add to that at home against Aston Villa this week.
Talking of form, Antoine Semenyo can’t stop producing. Bournemouth’ talisman has already accumulated nine attacking returns since the start of the campaign.
Involved in the same match, but playing at home, Ismaila Sarr is another player who could have success. The Crystal Palace man heads into the game after securing a goal contribution in his previous two matches.
On the bench and unlikely to feature is Sunderland’ Granit Xhaka.
Forwards
With nine goals and one assist already, Erling Haaland has been the most consistent striker in the league. A game against Everton next up could easily see him add to that tally.
Nottingham Forest are one of few sides yet to keep a single clean sheet in the league this season, and with Ange Postecoglu in charge, that could continue. Hoping to turn his form around is Chelsea’ Joao Pedro who started the season in great form.
With new management, we could start to see improvements from West Ham. Brentford rank among the worst four sides for multiple defensive metrics, which Jarrod Bowen could take advantage of. He goes into the game having netted two goals during his previous three outings.
