Who Got The Assist? have crunched the numbers for their talisman theory during the off-season and there’s some interesting results. With some teams having lots to play for in the run-in, it’s not a bad idea to focus on bringing some of these names in.
Top 20 for Talisman %s
NB %s are % of team total so a bit of a false comparison
BUT posits Pukki as Talisman King thus far, with Ings the other in the yuge 30%+ club 🇫🇮👑

There’s a buzz around John McGinn in the fantasy community, as the Villa man returns from injury, with the double in mind. Ben Dinnery urges caution though and believes it’s unlikely that the midfielder will start both games, if any.
… the return of McGinn: "It's a massive boost, not just as a player but as a character. He personifies the attitude that we want from our players. If I've got any concerns, it's that he hasn't played for six months. We'll have to manage him appropriately after his injury" #AVFC

At Sheffield United, there’s high hopes for a clean sheet or two in the double, but we could potentially target attacking returns too from their fixtures. Lateriser looks at their opponents: goals from set pieces looks like a big possibility.

One Sheffield United asset who has captured fantasy hearts this season is John Lundstram. He suffered form rotation at the turn of the year, but the potential flip side is clear to see. Adam Hopcroft is one manager prepared to take the risk.
Imo Lundstram is worth the risk
He has registered scores of 21, 14, 12, 12 & 11. His defensive team mates have just 2 double digit scores between them (Baldock 14, O'Connell 11)
Will you roll the 🎲with Lord Lundstram?
