FPL GW30 Articles

Captains

Shield and Sword captain picks return for FPL GW30 over on FPL Bet. It’s the Double Gameweek assets that dominate here, with Manchester City and Arsenal assets vying for our attentions. Check out the three Dream Team picks in three positions.

Picks

The Betfair column returns, with Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne stealing the headlines. Which player could benefit from VAR and who is the best budget pick from Aston Villa? There’s also the usual Sleeper and Wildcard selections for your FPL squads.

Value

In addition to the usual Betfair article, a positional series was also written for the restart, focusing on the defence, midfielders and forwards. There’s a total of 15 players who are expected to be good value for the rest of the football season.

Unlimited Transfers

When the game relaunched, gut feeling for the unlimited transfers was to Bench Boost for FPL GW30 and then build for the rest of the season from there. However, that plan quickly changed, with the team already in decent shape for the rest of the season.

Team Reveal

It’s been a busy week with the free hit active for FPL Gameweek 30, but I’m finally settled on a squad that I’m happy with. It comprises a full side of players with two games, in a high risk strategy, but the rewards are high.

Chip strategy and planning were top of the agenda in this week’s FPL Team Preview video on YouTube. The team looked to be in good shape for the run-in, so Bench Boost and Free Hit were both in the frame for activation.

Free Hit Video

Following a few days tinkering, the Free Hit chip was finally activated and the squad locked in. 12 players that have two fixtures in FPL GW30 made it into the squad and a big decision had to be made on the captaincy.

Collaboration
