Analysis

The Gameweek 2 analysis from Fantasy Football Scout brings a defensive statistic regarding West Ham which could lock in the captaincy for anyone wavering until this point. It’s not the only measure which ought to be considered when deciding transfers this week.

Injuries

As always, Ben Dinnery brings us the all-important injury news ahead of the deadline and some of the biggest news comes from Crystal Palace. The Eagles are likely to be missing some key personnel in defence once more, which isn’t ideal before a visit to Old Trafford.

Palace are still without the likes of James Tomkins, Gary Cahill, Nathan Ferguson and Patrick van Aanholt. Nathaniel Clyne is being tested ahead of him joining the group – Monday is likely to be his first day… Any potential deal would depend on the fitness of Ferguson. #CPFC
