Notes
- GW31 was a rollercoaster from start to finish! Despite fading Phil Foden on my GW30 wildcard (and therefore missing out on his 20-point haul this week), I still managed a healthy green arrow up to an OR of ~8k. That was also courtesy of some Alejandro Garnacho bench jam!
- At the time of writing, I’m likely to roll my GW32 transfer. This will leave me with two free transfers to use ahead of my Free Hit in GW34. I feel an extra week of information will allow me to optimise my transfers and better set my team up for the double gameweeks between GW35 and GW37.
- Đorđe Petrović will return to the team for GW32. Caomihin Kelleher is facing a potentially tricky fixture against Manchester United so siits on the bench.
- In defence, the seemingly recovered Malo Gusto also makes my starting XI. He joins the out-of-position Rayan Äit-Nouri and Destiny Udogie. Jamaal Lascelles is a long-term absentee and will likely be one of my transfers out in GW33.
- My starting midfielders will be Cole Palmer, Bukayo Saka, Mohamed Salah and Son-Heung Min. Garnacho once again will be settling for a place on the bench despite his two goals against Chelsea.
- I’m hoping Erling Haaland isn’t rested again this week. He leads the forward line alongside Alexander Isak and Darwin Nuñez.
- There looks to be a lot of viable options for captaincy in GW32. The fully rested Haaland is currently top of my list. However, I can see valid arguments for all of Palmer, Salah and Son this week, despite disappointing showings from the latter two in GW31.
