Forward planning for Gameweek 31 and 32

We take a look at forward planning for Gameweek 31 and 32. With the help of the Fantasy Football Scout members area we can utilise its fixture ticker and underlying stats to pick out the best teams and players to target for the Gameweeks ahead.

Forward planning for Gameweek 31 and 32 can be absolutely vital to the success of any given managers season. The latter stage of the season is one of the most important periods in FPL so being able to target the right teams and players could be key.

Gameweek 31 and 32 fixtures

Below the fixture ticker orders the teams in difficulty order for the next two Gameweeks. Furthermore the teams at the top have the best fixtures whilst the teams at the bottom have the worst fixtures. We can also see that there is a blank Gameweek in 32 for teams including Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Brighton.

Who has the best fixtures?

We can see that Crystal Palace, Liverpool, Brentford, Arsenal and Everton rank amongst the top five teams with the best fixtures. In addition all five teams play in both Gameweek 31 and 32 which also contributes to the fact they rank near the top of the ticker.

Who has the worst fixtures?

Brighton, Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Leicester rank amongst the bottom five teams with the worst fixtures. The first four teams do not have a fixture in Gameweek 32 which also contributes to the fact they rank near the bottom of the ticker.

Managers with a Free Hit chip

For managers with a Free Hit chip remaining Gameweek 32 could be a great time to use it. Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Brighton also hold plenty of ownership within their assets. Those that use their Free Hit in Gameweek 32 will be also able to keep all of the players from those teams after Gameweek 32.

Mangers without a Free Hit chip

For managers without a Free Hit chip, they will be looking to prioritise their transfers on players who play in both Gameweek 31 and 32. Some should also consider benching their best assets who blank in Gameweek 32 so they can rotate them in for Gameweek 33.

Key players for Gameweek 31 and 32

It is also important to highlight the players with the most potential over the next two Gameweeks. Amongst those assets include:

  • Liverpool – Defender Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.3m), midfielder Mohamed Salah (£12.8m) and striker Darwin Nunez (£8.7m).
  • Brentford – Goalkeeper David Raya (£4.9m) and striker Ivan Toney (£7.9m).
  • Arsenal – Defenders Gabriel (£5.2m) and Oleksandr Zinchenko (£5.2m), midfielders Bukayo Saka (£8.6m), Martin Odegaard (£6.7m), Gabriel Martinelli (£6.6m) and striker Gabriel Jesus (£8m).
  • Newcastle – Defender Kieran Trippier (£6.1m).
  • Tottenham – Defender Pedro Porro (£4.8m) and striker Harry Kane (£11.7m).
  • Aston Villa – Striker Ollie Watkins (£7.6m).

Blank Gameweek 32

For those looking to use the Free Hit it could be important to focus on the fixtures in this particular round. Furthermore Liverpool, Crystal Palace, Arsenal, Brentford and Leicester also rank amongst the top five teams with the best fixtures.

Key players for Gameweek 32

  • Liverpool – Defender Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.3m), midfielder Mohamed Salah (£12.8m) and striker Darwin Nunez (£8.7m).
  • Crystal Palace – Midfielders Eberechi Eze (£5.4m) and Michael Olise (£5.4m).
  • Arsenal – Defenders Gabriel (£5.2m) and Oleksandr Zinchenko (£5.2m), midfielders Bukayo Saka (£8.6m), Martin Odegaard (£6.7m), Gabriel Martinelli (£6.6m) and striker Gabriel Jesus (£8m).
  • Brentford – Striker Ivan Toney (£7.9m).
