Albania 0-1 Spain

Spain dominated in their match against Albania but their 1-0 victory didn’t reflect that. Scoring the only goal of the game was in-game forward Ferran Torres (€7.5m) who picked up the player of the match award and a nine-point return. Creating the assist was midfielder Dani Olmo (€7.5m) which helped him to six points.

The Spain clean sheet meant returns for their backline. Goalkeeper David Raya (€5m) started ahead of Unai Simon (€5.5m) and bagged seven points. Defenders Alejandro Grimaldo (€5m) and Daniel Vivian (€4m) both hit eight points.

Mass rotation struck Spain with midfielder Nico Williams (€7m), midfielder Pedri (€7m) and defender Dani Carvajal (€5.5m) all failing to feature. Strikers Alvaro Morata (€8.5m) and Lamine Yamal (€6.5m) also failed to start but featured briefly.

Croatia 1-1 Italy

Gianluigi Donnarumma celebrates his penalty save against Croatia

Monday night brought us a giant clash between Croatia and Italy. Croatia hit first via midfielder Luka Modric (€7.5m). Modric failed to convert the penalty but a minute later scored to put his side ahead. The 38-year-old also won the player of the match award which helped him total nine points.

Italy piled on the pressure during the second half and it wasn’t until the 98th minute that they responded with a goal of their own. Scoring the equaliser was substitute Mattia Zaccagni (€5.5m) who banked five points. Registering the assist was defender Riccardo Calafiori (€4.5m). With the help of four ball recoveries Calafiori hit six points.

Another player who picked up a successful return was Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma (€6m). After making a heroic save to prevent the penalty, combined with three shots saved Donnarumma collected eight points.
