Community XI: The Best FPL Midfielders for Fantasy Premier League 2019/20
There’s plenty of choice across the price points for midfielders in Fantasy Premier League.
It’s the Fantasy Football Community bringing their midfielders roundup of articles, videos and tweets for your Fantasy Premier League Tips.
1. Betfair
Premium options top the list in my latest article over on Betfair. Mo Salah takes the headlines, but it’s the Manchester City midfield that creates the most headaches. De Bruyne, Sterling or Bernardo?Working her way through the #FPL positions is @FFCommunity_ who this week takes in the best midfielders for the Fantasy Premier League season to come…

2. Olsen
In a very popular Twitter thread, Olsen previews our mid-range midfielders. There’s plenty of statistical analysis in here to get the brain cells buzzing and there’s a touch on similarly priced forwards too.In this thread, I will compare the most attractive £6.0 – £7.0 midfielders and attackers.
— FPL_evert (@Evert_Olsen) July 20, 2019
I'm going to consider them from this:
1️⃣- Last season (stats)
2️⃣- Team and fixtures
3️⃣- Price?
I will also make a personal conclusion. Hope you like it:)!
3. Physio
FPL Physio is tipping a Brighton pick with very low ownership who was off the radar last season. However, a new manager and a nice run of opening fixtures could pave the way for great things from Pascal.Pascal Groß found his way into my #FPL team this morning.

~ Uber differential (0.3%). ?
~ Great fixtures… wat, whu, sou & bur first 5 GWs. ??
~ FKs & corners = guaranteed assists with Dunk & Duffy. ?
Plagued by injuries last year but the season before he was class. ?? pic.twitter.com/sZ8n7IK5Vq
4. Nick
Nick from Who Got The Assist? is tipping another lowly owned midfielder. This premium option has the pedigree to produce big points scores and is nailed on to feature against Aston Villa in Gameweek 1 with Son suspended. There seems to be a lot of hype about Harry Kane and fitting him in as a 11m differential against City/Pool players for GW1. Moura is being overlooked. 7.5m mid that finished strongly with hat tricks against HUD and Ajax. Son suspended so will start GW1. Great way for Spurs cover pic.twitter.com/g2LjcwnLAS

5. Dinnery
Chelsea could be revitalised under their new manager Frank Lampard, and Ben Dinnery brings important injury news for us. FPL favourites Loftus-Cheek and Hudson-Odoi could be in contention to start the season. And sticking with Chelsea.
— Ben Dinnery (@BenDinnery) July 9, 2019
Hudson-Odoi (Achilles) is hoping to be available for the start of the new campaign….
Already back in light training and doing some ball work…

6. Neil
Leicester have a real buzz about them this season, with Rogers at the helm and some great new signings making them a fantastic attacking prospect. Neil Murray has discovered a bargain in their midfield.Spot the bargain. (Midfielders PPG) pic.twitter.com/NCdaFNvCpO

7. XI
It’s Wolves man, Dendoncker, who has all the traction this pre-season for being the best £4.5 million midfielder in the game. For any not convinced, FPL XI brings all of the key statistics.I think people are overlooking how good a choice Dendoncker is. He isn’t just a #FPL bencher.

In 2019 for Wolves.
▪️Played 17/18 games.
▪️Highest xG behind Jimenez and Jota – 4.17
▪️xGI/90 of 0.35
▪️Defensive Ruben Neves behind
▪️0.5 Shots in penalty area / game
▪️0.5 SoT/game pic.twitter.com/VPgKCpGdqG
8. Prince
There’s plenty of FPL managers considering some lower priced midfield options, particularly when VAR is in town. The FPL Prince is backing West Ham’s captain and penalty king, Mark Noble. If you're looking for a £5.0M midfielder then I think Mark Noble is probably the answer…⚒

Last season:
1️⃣ – 5 Goals
2️⃣ – 5 Asissts
3️⃣ – 7 Clean sheets
4️⃣ – On penalties
Penalties are the key for him! ⚽️ #FPL
9. YIRMA
Fantasy YIRMA have the big preview on some high profile midfielders signed for Chelsea and Spurs this pre-season. They are already making their mark and could be great value in draft formats too.First Guest Post of the 2019/20 Season as @joeybob88888 looks at Pulisic & NDombele as #FPL /Draft options https://t.co/0Ys9xNH9o1 pic.twitter.com/wbqOAi9wQr

10. Partridge
Manchester United’s new acquisition, Dan James, is one on the watchlist of FPL Partridge. It’s his pace that makes him very appealing, looking to exploit the high playing full-backs that many teams set up with.If I’m dabbling in the 6m midfielder market (yarmolenko, trossard etc), then I’m very tempted to go for Dan James. That pace will definitely catch out a few teams this season. Especially as full backs are so attacking. https://t.co/FVvjiT2esy

11. Joe
Fantasy Football Scout’s Joe completes the midfielders special with a look at Jorginho. He could be set for a more advanced role in Frank Lampard’s selection, plus he’s on penalties! This article is the 3rd in a series of positional features, be sure to go and check out the other features: —> Community XI: Goalkeepers —> Community XI: Defenders —> Community XI: ForwardsLast season Fraser was the key to my first wildcard. A 4th mid who was cheap and pointsaholic.
— FFJoe (@FFScout_Joe) July 13, 2019
Could Jorginho be that man this year? ? #FPL pic.twitter.com/jsqEE5Xejf
