FPL Hints is on the hunt for goalkeepers who rotate well long-term: it’s not a position FPL managers like to use a transfer on in the early phases of the season. £9.5 million will get a favourable selection for the first 12 weeks.

On the lookout for a bargain, FPL General has identified Burnley’s goalkeepers as a traditional source of fantasy points. After a disappointing campaign last time around, Pope could be set to improve their fortunes.

Although many managers attentions will be turned to goalkeepers at each extreme of the budget, Fantasy Bet have the mid-priced options covered. One of these fantasy assets kept 18 clean sheets just two seasons ago.

9. Physio
With cash particularly tight this season, the FPL Physio is tipping Manchester City’s Ederson as the premium keeper to own. This could change if a nailed on left back is available at City for just 5.5 million though.
Seen plenty of great threads on premium keepers and whether it is worth it or not.
In my head, it’s quite simple.
– I want Man City defensive cover, options are Ederson or Laporte.
– One is cheaper than the other!
Until we know more about the LB situation, I’m set on Eddie.

10. Neil
Thread guru, Neil, is leaning towards opting for a budget set-and-forget keeper with the backup for a cheap 8.5 million. There’s uncertainty at Brighton though under relatively new manager, Graham Potter.
I’m leaning more & more towards Matt Ryan as a 4.5M set & forget:
Only (current) certain #1 4.5M from non-promoted teams.
Ryan & Button = King & Heir.
Best opening 6 fixtures of 4.5 GKs.
Potter likely to play more attacking leading to increased number of save points (imo).
