The Fantasy Football Community are giving Leicester assets plenty of attention this pre-season.
The form team from the end of last season, coupled with some exciting new signings has provided a lot of interest.

Neil Murray posted another big Twitter thread looking at the Leicester of last season, plus plenty of statistics. All of that statistical analysis has led Neil to produce his top five Leicester assets, and there’s some defenders in there too!Based purely on this analysis, my favorite Leicester options in order:
— Neil Murray #FPL (@roneildinho) July 7, 2019
1. Jamie Vardy
2. Ben Chilwell
3. James Maddison
4. Youri Tielemens
5. Ricardo Pereira
?. Ayoze Perez https://t.co/sUXWLOEQ1K

3. Pundits
Fantasy Football Pundits are backing Jamie Vardy to start the season strongly. He has the form from last season and Leicetser’s new acquisitions should help to support an even more exciting attack.❓Time to start the Vardy Party❓

? That midfield;
?Maddison, Tielemans, Perez
? Mixed opening fixtures;
?Vardy loves the ‘tougher’ teams
? Penalty duty with VAR
? 9m makes him affordable
A happy medium between avoiding premium without going budget up top? pic.twitter.com/INuBkmgoH2
4. Joe
OptaJoe sets out an intriguing statistic for those managers considering Youri Tielemans. He’s now made his loan deal permanent with The Foxes and he’s got a wealth of contributions to their goals.7 – From his debut on February 10 to the end of the season, only Jamie Vardy (12) was involved in more Premier League goals for Leicester City than Youri Tielemans (7 – 3 goals, 4 assists). 5. Munday
The signing of Tielemans has increased the attractiveness of Jamie Vardy as a fantasy asset. The pace and creativity that he can provide in midfield, will help support Jamie Vardy as the spearhead of Leicester’s attack.? Jamie Vardy absolutely locked into my team for GW1 ? #FPL #FantasyPL https://t.co/95pQ2qqTcI

6. General
The FPL General added Tielemans straight to the watchlist when he was released to the Fantasy Premier League game at a friendly price of 6.5 million. He seems to be a great way of covering that Leicester attack.Transfers >> Leicester >> Midfielders >> Tielemans £6.5m >> Add to Watchlist
— FPL General (@FPLGeneral) July 9, 2019
7. Andy
Let’s Talk FPL’s Andy has an interest in Tielemans, but is also considering James Maddison. The fact that the latter is on set pieces has to be under consideration, he also has the edge in the following statistics.£6.5m is a smart price for Tielemans. At £7m think it would have been Maddison easier pick. At £6.5 you have to make a choice.
— Andy (@LetsTalk_FPL) July 9, 2019
Tielemans v Maddison – GW26-38
Shots – 31 v 35
In box – 7 v 9
Key passes – 16 v 43
xA + NPxG – 3.17 v 4.89
Maddison on set pieces too.
8. Rebant
Rebant has also focused on comparing Tielemans and Maddison in his thread on Twitter. The comparison has certainly got the community talking and it could be a close call between this pair.a THREAD on why I feel Tielemans is the better pick in comparison to Maddison.

*Not taking Perez into consideration, since there is little information on how he will be used*
To save characters we'll refer to them as YT and JM#FPL #FPLCommunity #tielemans #maddison #LCFC
9. Prince
The FPL Prince has also brought Perez into the mix, who could be an interesting out of position prospect, since he’s been reclassified as a midfielder. Is Maddison really worth the extra 0.5 million? The Leicester midfield presents some fascinating options…?
— FPL Prince ? (@TheFPLPrince) July 13, 2019
1. Tielemans: £6.5M – Assist and goal threat
2. Maddison: £7.0M – On set pieces
3. Perez: £6.5M – Scored 12 goals for Newcastle last year
Personally like the look of Perez and Tielemans! Who do you like? #FPL
10. Hopcroft
It’s important to consider the form that these players finished the season with. Vardy was by far the most potent player at the close of the last campaign, and new acquisition Ayoze Perez wasn’t far behind!Total goals + assists in their last 10 matches of season
— Adam Hopcroft (@ahopcroft13) July 15, 2019
Vardy 10?
