Notes

  • I go into the week just inside the top 600, I’ve had lots of small gains but I’m waiting to really hit a strong week.
  • My defence consists of solid and reliable players with the budget gains allowing me to have both Raum and Grimaldo alongside the dependable Chabot and Bernardo.
  • In midfield, Puertas is currently in there as a one week punt over the popular Rieder, with everyone else fairly template.
  • Up front, Uzun comes in, after weeks of being punished. However, with UCL coming up, I’m slightly concerned he could have his minutes managed.
  • Captains will likely be the usual – Grimaldo, Olise and Kane. Although, I do like the thought of punting on Uzun captain in the one week Kane truly has a “tough” fixture.

Bundesliga Fantasy Matchday 7 Team Reveals

Notes

  • Formation: 4-4-2
  • Goalkeepers: Ramaj (7.6 – FCH) & Backhaus (3.49 – SVW). Backhaus is back in training again after his injury and could be in the starting 11 immediately, as he is the confirmed 1st choice for Werder. I could pick Riess next to him this week, but that would mean making a transfer next week when Zentnerreturns from suspension, so Ramaj is back in my team.
  • Defenders: Grimaldo* (21.74 – B04), Brown (11.62 – SGE), Vušković (10.0 – HSV), Bernardo (9.85 – TSG) & Schmidt (6.28 – SVW). Despite his somewhat disappointing points tally last game, Grimaldo will remain in my team, likely as star captain. Vušković and Bernardo are also set to stay, as they are among the best duel winners in the Bundesliga. I’m unsure on the final two defender slots. Raum and Chabot are strong contenders. However, Brown and Schmidt are currently in my team. Brown has favourable fixtures coming up, he has attacking potential, and he wins a good amount of duels. Lastly, I also need a budget pick in Schmidt, who has won a lot of duels despite limited playing time. He is a small injury doubt, so I’m keeping an eye on that, but otherwise he should be nailed with Agu’s long-term injury.
  • Midfielders: Olise* (26.32 – FCB), Doan (16.44 – SGE), Tillman (14.65 – BO4), Baumgartner (8.24 – RBL) & Manzambi (5.24 – SCF). As expected, Olise and Doan will remain in my team. New additions are Tillman, Baumgartner and Manzambi. They all do well for duels won, providing a solid floor of points, and also have a good amount of attacking threat. El Mala is seriously in my considerations instead of Manzambi but he is not 100% nailed to start. El Khannoussand KamiĹ„ski remain options too.
  • Forwards: Kane* (27.72 – FCB), Uzun (11.74 – SGE) & Sinani (8.81 – TSG). What more can be said about Kane? Not much, he’s in and star captain. After disappointing against Bayern, I’m considering other options like Asllani and RĂ´mulo. But, Uzun’s potential ceiling is so high that he will remain in my team. Especially with the ultra-consistent Sinani to cover for him should he have a bad week.

Notes

  • I have Picked players who have done well so far, have good fixtures and have good expected minutes.
  • At the same time I have also avoided players who haven’t done well so far or have bad fixtures or don’t have good expected minutes.
  • I’m going with Raum star over Grimaldo due to fixture, the rest is pretty template I guess.
