Underlying Stats
Southampton have scored five goals in the last six Gameweeks. All five goals have been scored by a different Southampton player.
Che Adams and Mohammed Elyounoussi have the most attacking returns at Southampton in the same period with two each.
However it is Stuart Armstrong who has had the most attempts on goal in that period. His 16 attempts are more than second placed Adams who has 13 and 10 for Elyounoussi. Of Armstrong’s 17 attempts just six have come from inside the box, in comparison to Adams where 12 of his 13 have been in the area. Adams six big chances is a team leading total last six Gameweeks.
Southampton haven’t kept a clean sheet in their last five Premier League matches, however they did keep back-to-back clean sheets in Gameweeks 26 and 27. Goalkeeper Fraser Forster has made 20 saves in the last six Gameweeks. Only four goalkeepers have made more saves in this period, this bodes well for additional goalkeeping points for Southampton’s number one, especially if he keeps a clean sheet in the Double Gameweek. .
Ownership for Double Gameweek
In the top 10k of FPL managers only Amando Broja is owned by more than 10% of the game. The forward is owned by an incredible 68.54% of managers. This is in contrast to just 3.96% of managers in the top 10k who own Adams, and 0.0% who own Arsmtong.
After Broja the next most popular option is Livramento who is owned by 8.86% of the top 10%. However, only 571 managers in the top 10k own both of them. This means that owning Broja and any other Southampton player will be the only why to make him a differential in Gameweek 33.
