Best differentials for Bundesliga Fantasy Matchday 4
The new season of German football continues which means the Fantasy game does too. Because of this we take a look at the best differentials for Bundesliga Fantasy Matchday 4 with the help of our expert manager and contributor @FPLPlatinum.
Looking at the best differentials for Bundesliga Fantasy Matchday 4 can be extremely beneficial for managers. Differentials are lowly owned players that if successful can help you gain rank and an edge over you mini-league rivals.
GK – Oliver Baumann – 8.7m, 5% owned, FC Koln (A)
A familiar face, Oliver Baumann finds himself as the highest scoring keeper in the game, eight points ahead of Rønnow from Union Berlin. The German is averaging 11 points a game and is only 5% owned ahead of Hoffenheim’s trip to Koln. Baumann is also averaging six saves per game which will greatly boost his point potential. Despite zero clean sheets, Baumann’s impressive form has helped Hoffenheim to six points from a possible nine so far.
DEF – David Raum – 11.6m, 6% owned, Augsburg (H)
Raum had a tricky 22/23 campaign, only nailing down 19 starts. However, an impressive pre-season has changed Marco Rose’s opinion on Raum. The German has started all four competitive games for Leipzig, which include wins over Bayern Munich and Union Berlin. Raum got an assist in MD1+2 and a clean sheet in MD3.
Ahead of MD4, Raum is the 4th highest scoring defender – behind Davies, Frimpong, and teammate Henrichs. His low ownership is certainly something to keep an eye on, and can be in on the points ahead of Leipzig’s home tie to Augsburg.
MID – Chris Führich – 9.6m, 5% owned, Mainz 05 (A)
Compared to the defenders, there isn’t a lot of midfielders for MD4 that are as appealing. Many managers will be opting for 4/5 at the back to take advantage of the players at offer. Despite that, there are still midfielders who could thrive in MD4. One of them is 25 year old Chris Führich. Führich has picked up two goals and two assists as Stuttgart have scored an impressive 11 goals in three games so far – 10 of them at home.
Mainz have had a miserable start to their campaign, drawing to 10 man Frankfurt and getting battered by Union and Bremen. Stuttgart’s impressive scoring form and Mainz’s poor defence so far looks for an enticing matchup, and Führich could be among the goals in MD4.
FWD – Jonas Wind – 11m, 9% owned, Union Berlin (H)
Jonas Wind is seemingly unstoppable at the minute. Since the competitive season started, Wind has six goals and three assists in 6 games in all competitions for club and country. In the Bundesliga, he has four goals and one assist, making him the second highest scoring forward in Fantasy football behind red hot Boniface.
Union Berlin will not go down easily, but if Wolfsburg score, expect Wind to be involved. His ownership is still low, and managers could try to take advantage of this as he looks to continue his excellent form!
