Notes

  • The wildcard button continues to tempt me, but I still don’t see a massive upside, as I am satisfied with (most of) my team.
  • For that reason, my focus this week is on shipping out at least one of my two injured players.
  • Dele-Bashiru has been a big disappointment, but at his price range there aren’t many good options, so I’ve put my eyes on Masini who seems to be bagging 4-5 points very consistently without needing to get attacking returns.
  • Forwards have disappointed me, they tend to score less consistently: Belotti (just scored a brace, confirmed on penalties for Cagliari) is tempting, but I’m more likely to keep Scamacca for now, I don’t think a -5 would be worth it in the end.

Notes

  • I have two free transfers heading into the new round, and I don’t think my team needs mass changes.
  • The forwards continue to under-perform so I’m not looking to upgrade any of the budget strikers. I think there is a chance I switch to another budget striker if I see one worthy of a transfer.
  • My biggest annoyance is the fact I didn’t have Pulisic last week due to double Napoli attack. That didn’t work out at all. Napoli just haven’t been great. I’ll likely weigh up a move for Pulisic if he continues to produce during tough fixtures.
  • However, my biggest priority is to come off the less than convincing Napoli double up in attack. I’m more inclined to keep KDB because he is cheaper. So I could sell McTominay, release some funds and bring in Paz a little earlier than planned. Paz has not stopped returning so his performances are forcing me into a move for him. He’ll also be my early captain.
  • I think I’ll roll my other transfer, unless as mentioned above, I want to switch out a striker. I could even come off Di Lorenzo who is far from justifying his price-tag.
  • Good luck this week. I’d aim for Udinese players, Paz and a strong midfield moving forward.
