Best Bruno Fernandes Draft in FPL 2025/26

Looking to build your team around Manchester United’s talisman? In this article, we reveal the Best Bruno Fernandes Draft in FPL 2025/26, showing you how to fit the Portuguese playmaker into a well-balanced squad.
With penalties, set-pieces, and a proven FPL track record, Bruno offers huge potential – especially if United hit form early. Whether you’re going premium-heavy or seeking value elsewhere, this draft will help you maximise returns while keeping Bruno locked in your midfield.
Bruno Fernandes Draft
Robert Sanchez (£5m) remains one of the best options to start the season with between the sticks. The Spaniard plays for an excellent side and has fantastic starting fixtures.
Backing Sanchez up in goal is Leeds man Karl Darlow (£4m). Darlow could well be the only starting £4m goalkeeper in the game, at least for now.
There is plenty of cover at the back in terms of price points. Aston Villa’ Ezri Konsa (£4.5m) and Brighton’ Maxim De Cuyper (£4.5m) could offer great value at their price-points. Both play for top sides and have clean sheet potential.
There are lots of great options at £5m, one of them is Neco Williams. Nottingham Forest have several good options due to their quality at the back, and the Welshman also has attacking threat.
Covering the £5.5m-£6m price point in defence could be vital with all of the options available. Liverpool’ Virgil Van Dijk (£6m) has clean sheet potential and some goal threat, whilst also playing for one of the best sides in the league.
Maxime Esteve is one of the only playing £4m defenders in the game. Burnley were fantastic defensively last season, so the centre-back could come in handy.

Liverpool’ Mohamed Salah (£14.5m) and Chelsea’ Cole Palmer (£10.5m) have become shoo-ins for the most experienced FPL managers. Both were excellent again last season and both are talisman and penalty takers playing in two very good attacking sides.
We have come to the centre-piece of this draft, Bruno Fernandes (£9m). After an elite window in terms of attacking investment for Manchester United, we could well see much improved output for their penalty taker Bruno Fernandes. The set-play taker has already produced three goals and an assist in pre-season, and also offers defensive contribution point potential.
There are plenty of cheap options in midfield to choose from. One of them is Everton’ penalty taker Iliman Ndiaye (£6.5m) who is a standout in the Toffees attack.
Aston Villa’ Donyell Malen (£5.5m) not only continues to start for Unai Emery, but he also continues to impress. Malen could well be another £5.5m midfielder like Nottingham Forest’ Elliot Anderson or another option, if Malen fails to convince towards the season start.
Aston Villa’ starting fixtures are some of the best in the league. Because of this, having one attacker locked in could be crucial. With that in mind, spearheading the frontline is the consistent Ollie Watkins. Watkins also covers the £9m price-point.
Nottingham Forest striker Chris Wood was one of the most consistent strikers in the league last season. As well as having great fixtures, Wood also covers the £7.5m price bracket.
Marc Giui (£4.5m) looks set for a move to Sunderland. If so selecting him could help enable the rest of the team.
