Serie A Fantasy Round 38 Team Reveals

Notes

  • The last week of the season will bring a lot of benching headaches, at least to me. Honestly, Nico Paz is the only player I am confident in not starting, although team news closer to the deadline could help me with my late decisions.
  • I am tempted to bench Atalanta players, since Gasperini could easily rotate like he did last week, and Parma need points to be safe from relegation.
  • I think there are three spots up for grabs in my team. Thuram, who could make space for one of the Atalanta boys, Soulé, who has always returned for me, but who could be transferred for the likes of Yildiz or Orsolini, and Svilar, since I haven’t decided whether I should rely on Inter or Roma defence.
  • I could also move Dodo to another Juventus defender if I want to keep Soulé in my squad, in order to have a couple of punts to re-enter the top 10 OR (only one point away).

Serie A Fantasy Round 38 Team Reveals

Notes

  • After a small green arrow last round, I’m going into the last round of the season with full confidence.
  • The team is set up really well and I could burn the transfer!
  • Theo Hernandez missed out against Roma so therefore could miss the game against Monza. If that’s the case I’d likely switch to another AC Milan defender or pivot to a Lazio defender at home to Lecce.
  • Di Lorenzo will be my captain vs Cagliari at home!

Notes

  • Funny that the final round would be one of the easiest to navigate.
  • In my case I wouldn’t have to do much with the team above.
  • The biggest issue in my team currently is Theo Hernandez. If he doesn’t play though, or we hear he won’t start, I’d be tempted to just start Lautaro Martinez.
  • I actually really like my team, so I’m really going to struggle with what to do this week.
  • Worst case scenario is that Theo won’t start and neither will Martinez. But, then I’d probably look at selling Hernandez and bringing in a Lazio, Roma or Milan defender. I could even go for Yildiz.
  • Captaincy is unlikely to change due to how reliable the Napoli defence has been. If it does, then I could captain Veiga, or even an attacker.

Serie A Fantasy Round 38 Team Reveals

Notes

  • The final round of the season is here, with so many teams having very important games and have to win to meet their objectives (Title, Europe, Relegation), it means we have many options and differentials to target.
  • My team is already ultra differential, so I may do the opposite and get a template player or two.
  • Transfers: I have two free transfers, Kalulu is suspended, Veiga will be my replacement.
  • The second transfer will be Kean or Thuram (if he doesn’t start) out, to get Retegui.
  • Captaincy: GDL again, they are the best defence, and important to those with double Napoli defence. Veiga Vice.
  • Bench: Como boys (Goldaniga, Strefezza) and Kean.

Serie A Fantasy Round 38 Team Reveals

Notes

  • It’s the final round, I hope of maintaining my position in the top 10, which I broke into after the penultimate round.
  • My team for Round 38 looks very solid. In a round like this, with all the top teams having decent fixtures, I feel like managers might have a hard time choosing who to play and we might see big swings with a lot of points on the bench.
  • I currently have Kean and Fazzini on the bench, but of course the latest news on Lautaro, Lookman and Theo, who were missing last round, could have a significant impact on my final squad.
  • My defence is set, so I will almost certainly use my free transfer on a midfielder or a forward with the highest upside.
  • If Lautaro is out I will consider Dovbyk, Castellanos or a simple swap for Thuram.
  • If everyone is fit, I will sell Paz to bring one of Orsolini, Zaccagni or Soule.
  • Pulisic is my captain for now. But if there is any uncertainty about Milan’s line-up, I will take the safe option and give the armband to Di Lorenzo.

Notes

  • The last GW of Serie A Fantasy is finally here and with two free transfers up my sleeve I am planning to be a bit punty.
  • Dumfries comes into the side in defence with seven goals this season, one can only hope he can score yet another goal in GW38.
  • With my other free transfer at the moment I plan to bring in Nico Gonzalez at Juventus who have a relatively easy game at Venezia. But, if he doesn’t start I will probably go for Reijnders.
  • For captaincy it’s currently on Retegui. But, Lukaku, Pulisic, Kean and even Orsolini are all in the mix to take the arm band in GW38.
