Notes
- My ‘keepers this week will likely be Kristijan Kahlina and Óscar Ustari. While New England’s form has improved of late, they are still one of the bottom-ranked teams for xGF away from home and the Charlotte defence remains solid. Inter Miami also have a decent chance of shutting out FC Dallas, CCC rotation permitting, which, along with Ustari’s price, makes him a standout fallback pick.
- I’ve paired Kahlina and Ustari with Nick Scardina and Marcelo Weigandt, who are cheap routes into their teams’ respective defences.
- The rest of my defence – Kai Wagner, Luca Orellano and Ryan Hollingshead – comprises offensive pieces from teams with decent home matchups and clean sheet chances.
- Evander was once again one of the first names in my team and will likely take the captain’s armband this week.
- Martín Ojeda and Quinn Sullivan also feel like easy adds given their matchups.
- Dániel Gazdag and Đorđe Mihailović are my remaining midfield picks. Gazdag still put up five points against Inter Miami despite squandering several goalscoring opportunities, while Mihailović is on a run of four goals and an assist in his last four games.
- In attack, it might be a good week to bet against Lionel Messi. Inter Miami have it all to do in the second leg of their CCC semi-final against Vancouver and there’s a good chance Messi starts the Dallas game on the bench, particularly with only three days between matches.
- Tai Baribo and Kevin Denkey are solid plays against two weak defences. Denkey, in particular, could be a good play with Sporting KC missing Dany Rosero and Jake Davis.
- Denis Bouanga is my other forward this week. Bouanga and LAFC seem to have found their offensive mojo in recent weeks and I expect them to do well at home to a suspect St Louis defence. Bouanga can also be swapped out for Messi should the Argentine in fact start against Dallas.

Notes
- There are lots of keeper options but nothing great early. I’m tempted by Johnson TOR, but unlikely to go there.
- I have gone heavy Cincy/Philly on the bench, which could mean lots of scrubbing before the 730 matches.
- Messi and Miami in general will need to be watched in terms of line-ups with a busy week.
- I have double CLT defence right now. Scardina should start again at RB with Byrne out for multiple weeks.
- Four key matches Sunday, are LAFC back?
- Martinez is a scrub spot.
- ATL are in a rough spot, can Ojeda shine this week at home?

Notes
- In goal, I like the look of Andre Blake on the front end of my keeperoo this week at home to DC United. My fallback should Blake fail to keep a clean sheet is currently Oscar Ustari, but I also like LAFC’s chances of a clean sheet against St. Louis City.
- In defence, I’ve paired Andre Blake with fullback Kai Wagner for the clean sheet and attacking potential. Ive also included Cincinnati’s Luca Orellano for the same reasons. I’m also looking at Nick Scardina who is likely to play at LB for Charlotte following Doumbia’s injury.
- My last defender is currently San Diego’s Loffelsend. In midfield, Quinn Sullivan completes a Union triple up having scored 38 points across his last five matches. Evander was an easy inclusion at home to a SKC side that have conceded seven goals across their last two games.
- Other midfielders I like this week is Mihailovic, Mukhtar and Antony. Houston midfielders could also be options this week with Bassi presenting good value at $7.7m.
- Up front, Lionel Messi is a lock for me as long as he starts on Sunday.
- Denis Bouanga has started to show old form with two goals and one assist in his last two matches. My last forward is currently Diego Rossi.
