Fortunately I haven’t had many injuries like others. I think my team is well set up for the new round.

Retegui is injured. But, I was probably going to bench him anyway. Paz is also out due to suspenion. He will be covered by Assane Diao in midfield.

I had planned to shift to Sommer in goal, but Roma’s great defensive form allows me to wait one more week before jumping back on the Swiss goalie.

Captaincy will be very tricky. Depending on team news close to the deadline I could be going Beukema, Gatti, Diao or onto Ndicka for a “triple” Roma defence.

With so many injuries and uncertainties (Retegui, Lautaro, Theo, Dumfries, Gatti…) and no International break, I think it’s the best time to activate the WC to attack the last nine Rounds .

There’s some nailed players in my current draft: GDL, Juventus def, Roma defence, the Inter Goalkeeper (or def), Thuram.

There’s also some differentials like Como players, Lukaku/McTominay, the Cagliari defence for next two Rounds.

Captaincy: Sommer – I didn’t activate the WC just yet, I’m waiting for the press conferences, but I’m 99% sure it’ll be active before the deadline.

It’s a bit of a mess this week to be honest. Paz picked up a needless yellow card last week, and Retegui got injured during the international break. The same could be said for Lautaro Martinez. I’m awaiting an update on his injury. The last time he got labelled injured he actually started.

This is my current set-up. It’s a case of playing who is fit this week. I would rather a feature from Lautaro then start Thauvin against Inter. But if Martinez is injured and officially ruled out, then Thauvin could be a my only playing player to come in. That is if he has recovered from his recent injury.

I won’t be using a transfer this week. There are some major fixtures swings coming up. So, I’m willing to just ride through this week to make multiple changes ahead of Round 31.

Captaincy is pretty limited this week in terms of who I can pick. I have captained Svilar several times recently, and it looks like I may have to call upon him once more for the armband. I also think Beukema could be a good option.
