Top 10 FPL Points Scorers 2023/24
The final balls of the 2023/24 season have been kicked and the final FPL points have been awarded. Now FPL managers can look back on the season and see what they can learn for the 2024/25 game. Here, we look at who were the top 10 FPL points scorers this season.
For FPL managers, looking at the top points scorers for the season can give them a good insight to the players to target next time. These players could also help to build a chip strategy and highlight captaincy options.
The Top Five
1. Cole Palmer – 244 Points
Chelsea’ Cole Palmer topped every other player in 23/24 for points. The Englishman accumulated a massive 244 points and that was largely due to 22 goals and 13 assists.
Palmer managed 10 double-digit hauls, including two 20+ pointers. His biggest return came against Everton in Gameweek 33 where he hit 26 points after scoring four goals.
2. Phil Foden – 230 Points
Manchester City snatched the Premier League title for a record fourth consecutive time in 23/24. One of their biggest contributors was Phil Foden who amassed 230 points.
Foden started 33 matches in 23/24, netting 19 goals and producing eight assists. He also hit 20 points in two games this season, which were his highest. One of those hauls came against Brentford in Gameweek 23 and the other came against Aston Villa in Gameweek 31.
3. Ollie Watkins – 228 Points
Aston Villa were brilliant in their 23/24 campaign and that same brilliance helped them to secure Champions League football in the following season.
Spearheading the Aston Villa frontline was Ollie Watkins. Watkins collected 228 points after managing 19 goals and 18 assists in 37 starts. The Englishman banked 13 double-digit hauls, with his biggest coming against Brighton in Gameweek 7.
4. Bukayo Saka – 226 Points
Sitting fourth for total points in 23/24 was Bukayo Saka with 226. Saka helped his side challenge Manchester City for the title with his 16 goals and 12 assists. His biggest returns came in Gameweek 24 and Gameweek 25 where he hit consecutive 15-point returns with the help of four goals.
5. Erling Haaland – 217 Points
Completing the top five was Erling Haaland. The Norwegian helped Manchester City clinch another Premier League title with his 27 goals and eight assists. As well as hitting 217 points, Haaland’ 27 goals also gave him the Golden Boot award.
