Gameweek 35 Best Wildcard Team

In this article we focus on the Gameweek 35 best wildcard team. Using the fixture ticker and underlying data from the Fantasy Football Scout members area we build the best wildcard team for the run ahead. Here, we also consider two different drafts for two different chip strategies.

The period ahead could be very challenging for FPL managers to navigate so many within the community could be ready to shake up their fantasy teams. Because of this taking a look at the Gameweek 35 best wildcard team could be extremely beneficial.

Fixture Ticker

Below we can see that the fixture ticker covers the next four Gameweeks (from Gameweek 35-38).

Who has the best fixtures?

Chelsea, Newcastle, Tottenham, Manchester City and Manchester United all rank amongst the top five teams with the best fixtures.

Who has the worst fixtures?

Wolves, West Ham, Bournemouth, Liverpool and Aston Villa all rank amongst the bottom five teams with worst fixtures.

Gameweek 35 Best Wildcard Team

The draft below contains six players who have a Double Gameweek in Gameweek 35. The same six players also have another Double Gameweek in Gameweek 37.

This draft also includes 15 players who have a Double Gameweek in Gameweek 37, which means it enables those managers looking to use the Bench Boost.

The absence of Arsenal and Liverpool players is immediately noticeable. Although both sides have been extremely consistent this season, both have also shown signs of slowing down. In addition, neither Liverpool or Arsenal have a Double Gameweek for the remainder of the season, so their exclusion allows the space and budget to benefit elsewhere .

The Chelsea and Tottenham fixtures are difficult to ignore. Both have two Double Gameweeks each from now until the end of the season so tripling up on both could be hugely rewarding. The triple up of Nicolas Jackson, Cole Palmer and Malo Gusto makes sense due to Chelsea’ excellent scoring rate recently. Meanwhile with Tottenham, Son Heung-Min could be a shoo-in, along with Pedro Porro who is one of the most attacking full-backs in the league. Guglielmo Vicario could be the third option as he doesn’t fill a important spot or take too much budget from elsewhere.

Manchester City and Newcastle both also warrant triple-ups. Newcastle have been excellent recently, especially offensively. They face two promoted sides and a double Gameweek. Selecting their three assets should be easy. Phil Foden and Erling Haaland ease into the draft, along with Kyle Walker who after returning from injury could be the safest route into the backline in terms of minutes.

The Manchester United double-up was another easy addition due to the schedule. Diogo Dalot has more attacking potential than his defensive teammates whilst penalty taker Bruno Fernandes seems to be in the middle of a purple patch in terms of form.
