The huge fixture update from the Premier League was the talk of the town this weekend. One of the biggest fixture amendments was that of the Tottenham Blank Gameweek in 34.
As highlighted by Andy below, being able to hold Tottenham assets through to their schedule after with the use of the Free Hit in Gameweek 34 could be key. This is because they are highly likely to double twice immediately after that.

The Andy’s were out in force this weekend with the fixture update. Andy touches upon one of the several different strategies for the run ahead which is Wildcarding in Gameweek 35 and Bench Boosting in Gameweek 37.
Andy also brought up an interesting topic, raising questions around what managers were going to do with Arsenal and Liverpool assets. This is because, although two fantastic teams, neither have a Double Gameweek for the remainder of the season.
With Chelsea, Tottenham, Manchester City, Brighton, Manchester United and Newcastle all likely to double in 37, many will be debating both Bukayo Saka and Mohamed Salah in their sides. But could that come back to haunt us as they face Everton and Wolves immediately after the double on the final day.
@FPLGOAT7
FPL GOAT was also ahead of the rest as he started to tinker with a Gameweek 34 Free Hit. Double Gameweeks were confirmed for teams including Liverpool, Arsenal, Bournemouth, Crystal Palace, Wolves, Everton and Sheffield United this weekend.
The Double Gameweek fixtures above and the fact Tottenham Blank could mean Gameweek 34 a brilliant time to use the Free Hit again and lots within the community are excited.
In FPL GOAT’ Gameweek 34 Free Hit team we can see that he has opted for a Crystal Palace Palace triple up. The Eagles have two lovely home fixtures against West Ham and Newcastle so could be a popular team that week.

Another popular strategy upon the fixture update seems to be to activate the Wildcard during the International break. As we can see, this is an idea shared by Ross who has already pressed the button.
There is many benefits from activating the Wildcard now. From chasing team value and ditching Aston Villa and Luton assets to bringing in Mohamed Salah and setting up for the run ahead, the move seems to be becoming increasingly popular.
@FFScout
Fantasy Football Scout were also quick to react to the news. As we can see, their recent article covers everything you need to know around the fixture update. Not only do they update the fixtures but they also touch upon chip strategies and who could Double after that. So, be sure to head over!
