Which teams have the best fixtures?

Inter, Atalanta, Genoa, Milan and Bologna all rank amongst the top five teams with the best fixtures.

Which teams have the worst fixtures?

Cagliari, Verona, Salernitana, Frosinone, and Empoli all rank amongst the bottom five teams with the worst fixtures.

Atalanta and Fiorentina Double Gameweek

Crisk also gave his opinion on the upcoming Atalanta and Fiorentina Double Gameweeks.

“Atalanta and Fiorentina are playing in multiple cup competitions each. So most midweeks wouldn’t be suitable to play the postponed games. If both teams get eliminated from their respective UEFA competitions (Atalanta face Liverpool in the UEL, Fiorentina will clash against Plzen in the UECL), the first midweek available will be between R34 and R35, likely leading to a DR34.

“In case either team go on (most likely Fiorentina) in their competition, the next midweek available would be the last of the season, leading to a DR37. However, this would only be possible if Atalanta does not reach the UEL final. It is a very unlikely scenario, since the odds are on Liverpool to beat them in the next round. But, it is a possibility we cannot ignore”.

“The worst case scenario would make it so that no midweeks would be available for the rescheduled match. In that case I can see the Italian Cup final being postponed from the midweek between R36 and R37 to a date after the end of the season: with Atalanta and Fiorentina facing each other in the semi-finals, one of the two teams are in fact guaranteed to play in the final”.

“My odds on the double: DR34 or DR35 (Fiorentina loses to Plzen) 35% DR37 (Fiorentina beats Plzen, Atalanta does not reach the final) 64% DR36 1% (Atalanta in the UEL final)”.
