Fantasy Premier League: Predicted Player Points for Gameweek 23

The new round of fantasy football is approaching so we take a look at the predicted player points for Gameweek 23. With the help of the Fantasy Football Scout members area we can pick out assets with the most potential for the fixtures ahead.

As we approach the new round fantasy managers are looking for the best players to include in their squads. Because of this looking at the predicted player points for Gameweek 23 can help bring clarity to some of your decisions.

The Top Five

Sitting top of the pile is Erling Haaland with 5.49 points. Although the Norwegian has missed plenty of gametime recently he remains in the top five highest scoring players in the game. He faces Brentford this week.

Newcastle defender Kieran Trippier isn’t far behind with 5.91 points. Trippier has struggled to maintain a good run of returns recently but faces Luton this week which could be a good opportunity to pick up some points.

Ranking third this week is Chelsea midfielder Cole Palmer with 5.52 points. Palmer has racked up three double-digit hauls in the last six matches so has proven to be explosive. Wolves lay ahead next so there is no surprise he sits high on the list.

Completing the top five is Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins with 5.39 points who faces Sheffield United and Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne with 5.08 points who has a meeting with Brentford.

Who else joins the Top 10?

Topping the bottom five is Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes with 4.94 points. Fernandes has been way below par this season in terms of output. A match against West Ham could be the opportunity he needs to get back amongst the returns.

Another player who sits in the top 10 is Bournemouth striker Dominic Solanke with 4.89 points. Nottingham Forest lay ahead who have been extremely poor defensively recently. Solanke will be hoping to hit back after blanking in Gameweek 20 and 21.

Newcastle striker Aleksander Isak joins the rest as he looks set to collect 4.87 points. Isak has been in great form – banking three returns on the bounce. He has the chance to extend that form with Luton up next.

Sitting ninth on the list is Manchester United midfielder Marcus Rashford (£8.4m). Rashford has been experiencing some controversy recently. However, he will want to prove doubters wrong and pick up 4.64 points against West Ham. Joining him and completing the top 10 is Chelsea man Raheem Sterling with 4.60 points. The midfielder faces Wolves this week which could be the fixture he needs to gain some momentum.
