It was an interesting round for those who sold their Tottenham assets this week. As Andy highlighted some made the decision to sell. The London club won their game 2-1 against Crystal Palace and there was plenty of returns to go about.
Son Heung-min (£9.6m) bagged 10 points for his goal and bonus points. Fellow midfielder James Maddison (£8.1m) also picked up a return. He collected six points for his assist. A late controversial Crystal Palace goal meant the Tottenham defence failed to return any significant points.
FPL managers may have a big decision coming up. The Tottenham fixtures get rough over the next several round with matches against Chelsea and Aston Villa. Many will be tempted to sell off their defensive assets. However, the consistent James Maddison and Son Heung-min could be very tough sells.

Fantasy Football Scout contributor Andy made ‘two happy accidents’ in Gameweek 10. One of them was Brentford midfielder Bryan Mbeumo (£6.6m). He recently went through a poor run of form – blanking in four consecutive matches. However whilst many sold Mbeumo he then went onto hit hauls of 13 and 14 points in the last two rounds.
Mbeumo faces matches against Arsenal and Liverpool in the next three matches. This is why managers could be selling him. After that run he then faces Luton, Brighton and Sheffield United, so some could even be tempted to bring him back in.

Fantasy Football Scout contributor Pras made a brilliant move this week. Arsenal came up against the worst side in the league in Sheffield United. That was telling as the Blades lost the game 5-0. One player who many had high expectations for was midfielder Bukayo Saka (£8.6m) who was one of the highest transferred in players ahead of the week. Saka finished the game with just six points due to his assist causing frustration amongst his owners.
One player who had a very successful game was striker Eddie Nketiah (£5.5m), a player that Pras brought into his side. The Englishman filled in for Gabriel Jesus due to injury and banked a massive 17 points due to three goals and three bonus. With Newcastle next up many may wait until the fixtures ease after that to bring him in against the likes of Burnley, Brentford, Wolves and Luton.
@FPLCrateDigger
One player continued their brilliant run of form this week. Wolves had to face off against one of the best defences in the league this week and some within the community wrote them off. However, Wolves were fantastic and once again midfielder Pedro Neto (£5.8m) was hugely influential.
Neto managed to hit his eighth return in a row this week – hitting five points for his assist. His fixtures look very enticing for the run ahead but unfortunately Neto picked up a hamstring injury may mean he could be out for some time. News could be worth monitoring because if he is ok or does recover in the period ahead, he could be a great asset moving forward.
@FPLFella
Newcastle defender Kieran Trippier (£7m) was hoping to hit his sixth return in a row this week. That wasn’t to be as the full-back failed to keep a clean sheet and convert his creativity into points. He also picked up a yellow card which meant Trippier finished the game with zero points.
Non Trippier owners will be undoubtedly happy with Trippier’ misfortunes this week but for those that own him it there could be a tough decision ahead. He comes up against Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United in the next four matches so some could decide to move him on.
