Transfers and gossip up to June 16th
As the leagues come to their conclusion around Europe and the rest of the world, many will be looking to buy, loan or sell players. We catchup with the transfers and gossip up to June 16th with the help of top tier source Fabrizio Romano and other reliable sources.
Overviewing the transfers and gossip up to June 16th can be a huge help for fantasy managers around the world. Whether it affects Fantasy Premier League, UCL Fantasy or another Fantasy game, we look at what the deal could mean for the player or team from a fantasy point of view.
Is Kai Havertz on his way to Arsenal?
David Ornstein states that Arsenal have made a proposal for Chelsea forward Kai Havertz. He also adds that Arsenal have ramped up their interest over recent days. German giants Bayern have also shown huge interest.
Havertz was instrumental to the Blues Champions League win in 2021 but since then has proved ineffective. He managed just seven goals and one assist in 30 Premier League matches for Chelsea this season. One of the biggest questions the move could raise is how he would fit in to the relentless Arsenal attack of last season.
Will Manchester City close in on a deal for Josko Gvardiol?
After claiming the treble last season Manchester are seemingly looking to strengthen their squad already. One of the few links they have is that of Leipzig defender Josko Gvardiol. Fabrizio Romano stated that the European Champions are advancing on personal terms.
He also mentions that Leipzig will only sell for a large fee. Gvardiol is a highly rated centre-back. He proved his quality in the most recent World Cup campaign for his international side Croatia. Gvardiol could be a fantastic addition for the blues and could make their defence even more investable in FPL if the move goes ahead.
Daichi Kamada to AC Milan
Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that AC Milan are interested in signing Frankfurt attacker Daichi Kamada on a free transfer. He also states that the Japanese international has been waiting for Milan to get the green light on the details of the deal.
Kamada racked up nine goals and six assists in his 22/23 Bundesliga campaign whilst also impressing in his the most recent World Cup. AC Milan are short of attacking options especially after Real Madrid recalled on loan player Brahim Diaz. Dias was instrumental to AC Milan’s good performances last season and Kamada could be the perfect replacement.
Will Bayern edge Manchester United to Kim Min-Jae?
From Fabrizio Romano’s understanding, Bayern have presented their project to Napoli midfielder Kim Min-Jae this week. He also states that talks are advancing fast. This comes shortly after Manchester United also showed huge interest.
Kim Min-Jae has been excellent for Napoli this season and a contributing factor to the Italian side claiming the Serie A title. He also impressed hugely in the Champions League. If Bayern complete the signing of Min-Jae, it will no doubt increase the interest of the Bayern defence in UCL Fantasy.
Is Bernardo finally leaving Manchester City?
Manchester City midfielder Bernardo Silva could finally leave after several windows of heavy rumours. As we can see below the Portuguese international is in talks with French giants PSG. Talks are yet to advance but he is considered as a priority for the French Champions.
Bernardo Silva proved to be a key player for Manchester City during the latter stages of the Champions League campaign. An example of this is when he scored two goals against Real Madrid in the semi-final. Silva joins a list of players targeted by PSG to revamp their squad.
