Fixtures

Everton

Everton come into the final round full of motivation as they will want to win to secure their place in the Premier League for next season. The Toffees face Bournemouth up next who could be labelled as a team on the beach with nothing left to play for.

Another factor backing Everton is their opponent’s poor underlying data this season. Offensively, Bournemouth rank amongst the worst five teams in the division for attempts on goal, shots on the box, big chances and shots on target.

Because of the above, some managers could consider the likes of Yerry Mina (£4.3m). The centre-back picked up a huge 10-point haul in the most recent round. James Tarkowski (£4.1m) could also be considered. The Englishman is one of the cheapest ways into the Everton backline.

Bournemouth also look like a team to target from a defensive point of view. In fact, this season when compared to every other team they rank second worst for goals conceded, the worst for shots in the box conceded and the worst for shots on target conceded.

Some of the best attacking assets from Everton include Dwight McNeil (£5.1m) The winger managed two returns in his last five league matches, including a monstrous 21-point return. Fellow midfielder Alex Iwobi (£4.9m) should also be considered after bagging two returns in his last four league games.

Eberechi Eze

Crystal Palace have won five of their nine matches under Roy Hodgson and the improvements don’t stop there. In fact, during the same period they also netted in all but three of them. They face Nottingham Forest in the upcoming round.

Nottingham Forest were good enough to secure top flight football for next season, but they have been conceding some poor defensive stats this campaign. One player in particular could take advantage of his opponents short comings. Eberechi Eze (£5.6m) has picked up three returns in his last four matches, including a 16-point double digit haul.

The Brighton attack

Brighton have been excellent this season, especially in front of goal. They have also been maintaining some great offensive data as of late. In the last six matches amongst all teams they rank second best for goals, first for attempts on goal, first for shots in the box and second for big chances total.

Because of their impressive stats it could be worth looking into their offensive line. Striker Evan Ferguson (£4.6m) could be a great option. He picked up a 13-point haul in his most recent match. Another great option is Pascal Groß (£5.4m). The German midfielder has been under looked as an option this season and also struck three returns in his last five games including a 14-point haul.
