Fixture ticker
Below we can see teams with the best fixtures at the top, all of the way down to teams with the worst fixtures at the bottom.
Solly March
Brighton are one of the best teams to invest in over the coming weeks with news of two double Gameweeks ahead. Offensively its looking good. In the last six Gameweeks amongst all teams in the league Brighton rank in the top four teams for attempts on goal (87), shots in the box (60), big chances total (21) and shots on target (32).
Because of Brighton’s impressive stats their frontline is even more appealing. One of the best ways into the Brighton attack could be Solly March (£5.1m). As well as ranking sixth amongst all players in the league for non penalty expected goal involvement (3.70) but also leads his offensive teams for it too.
Ollie Watkins
Aston Villa come into Gameweek 26 after scoring two goals in three of their last four matches. Not only that but they also play in blank Gameweek 28 and have a double Gameweek immediately after in Gameweek 29.
They face a Crystal Palace side who rank the worst for shots in the box conceded (73) and the worst for shots on target conceded (37). For that reason it could be worth bringing in Ollie Watkins (£7.3m) early. The striker has banked five returns in his last five matches including one double digit haul.
Bryan Mbeumo
Brentford have only failed to score in one of their last six matches. They also netted three goals in two of those same games. This highlights their confidence in front of goal and their progressively appealing frontline. They face a Fulham side who have conceded more big chances than any other side this season.
With two double Gameweeks ahead and a fixture in Gameweek 28, Brentford could be one of the most investable sides in the game. Uncertainty clouds around Ivan Toney and his potential ban so it could be wise to move on Bryan Mbeumo (£5.8m). The striker has managed returns in half of his last six matches including two double-digit hauls.
James Maddison
Leicester could be a great team to buy into moving forward. They have a fixture in blank Gameweek 28 and also have very good fixtures in their double Gameweek in Gameweek 29. They face struggling Southampton next.
Southampton sit rock bottom in the Premier League and have struggled defensively all season. If fit, investing in James Maddison (£8.1m) could be a fantastic buy. The midfielder has banked nine goals and five assists in just 17 matches this season. When fit Maddison is effective and taking a risk with him could have huge reward.
