One of the teams they face this week is Cardiff. The Welsh side have been in a torrid run of form lately. Sheffield United

Sheffield United also have a double Gameweek this week. The Blades have had a fantastic campaign so far. They currently sit second in the division, seven points clear of the pay-offs. In their last 10 matches they have won six, lost two and drawn two. In the same period they have also notched up 19 goals, averaging 1.9 goals per game whilst also keeping five clean sheets.

One of their double Gameweek opponent’s is Blackburn who are in reasonably good form. In their last 10 matches they have won four, drawn five and only lost once. In the same time they have kept four clean sheets and failed to score in two of them.

Sheffield United’s second opponent is Reading. In the same period they have three, lost five and drawn two. They also kept just one clean sheet and failed to score in four of those same 10 games.

For managers looking to back the Sheffield United defence they could go for Lowe (£5.2m) who has picked up 1 goal and four assists this season. Most could be drawn to Bogle (£6.3m) who returned his two goals and one assist in his last eight matches.

If looking to invest in the attack, the standout option and a real contender for captaincy could be midfielder Ndiaye (£8m). He has bagged 10 goals and seven assists already this campaign. Others could go for striker McBurnie (£7m). The Scotsman has scored 11 and created one assist this season.

West Brom

It’s been a rocky season for West Brom to say the least. The Baggies are trying to find stability as they sit 10th in the league just five points short of the play-off places. In their last 10 matches they have won four, drawn two and lost four. In that period they have scored 17 goals, averaging 1.7 goals per game whilst keeping three clean sheets.

One half of their double Gameweek sees them clash with Hull. The Tigers have been mixed in their last 10 winning three, losing four and drawing three. In the same time they have kept four clean sheets and failed to score in a huge five of them.

West Brom’s second opponent is Wigan. They have lost four, drawn five and won just one of their last 10 matches. In that same period they have also kept three clean sheets and failed to score in three games.

If looking to back the West Brom defence we could select goalkeeper Griffiths (£5m). Some could back defender Townsend (£6.7m). He has picked up two goals and one assist this season. Whilst some could even go for Furlong (£6.1m) who has netted twice this campaign.
