Which players are due a goal in Gameweek 24?
Picking out the players that look likely to score in an FPL gameweek is a big part of management. Using recent underlying stats from the Fantasy Football Scout, we assess which players are due a goal in Gameweek 24.

However, others are shooting and getting in the right places without having either luck or end product. So let’s look at the players who have met the following criteria over their last four league appearances:
- No more than one goal
- At least nine shots
- At least two big chances
- An expected goals (xG) tally of 1.10
- An expected goal involvement (xGI) of 1.30
Due a goal in Gameweek 24
There are still two matches before Gameweek 24 – Liverpool v Everton and Arsenal v Man City. Dominic Calvert-Lewin is an injury doubt so should stay on this list, whilst Darwin Nunez – well, we know the story.
The two Chelsea names had mixed fortunes at West Ham. Loanee Joao Felix gave the Blues an early lead but Kai Havertz had a goal ruled out for offside soon after. Both will expect success at home to Southampton.
It was a frustrating Saturday afternoon for Aleksandar Mitrovic owners, collecting a fourth successive blank. An average of 1.5 points per game, in that time.
Elsewhere, there was success for last week’s entrant Harvey Barnes, his goal making it three attacking returns in a row. Callum Wilson didn’t participate due to injury, while Bruno Fernandes had a match-leading four goal attempts at Leeds. He blanked, after missing a big chance when put one-on-one with Illan Meslier.
Finally, Brighton’s Alexis Mac Allister had an incredible seven goal attempts – six of which were inside the box – against Crystal Palace. An xG total of 1.41 in one match, although without any actual goals or assists.
