Picking out the best players against their Gameweek 6 opposition could be helpful in making both transfer and captaincy decisions. The more information FPL managers have the better our decisions tend to be in terms of having successful assets in our fantasy teams.

Sterling v West Ham

£9.9m Chelsea midfielder Sterling seems to have now settled to life at Chelsea. His back-to-back returns total a huge 23 points over his last two matches. The new Chelsea signing has a really good record against upcoming opponents West Ham as we can see below.

In the 13 matches Sterling has played against the hammers he bagged a return in seven of them. Furthermore, a huge six of those included six double digit hauls hitting more than 10 points in four of those matches.

Vardy v Brighton

£9.4m Leicester forward has had a slow start to the season in terms of FPL. His assist in Gameweek 4 against Chelsea was his first attacking return of the season, but could that improve? You can see in the table below Vardy has a fine record against his upcoming opponent Brighton.

In his last nine matches Vardy has incredibly seized an attacking return in six of those matches. With two double hauls in that same period. His total sits at six goals and three assists, meaning he averages an attacking return per match against his Gameweek 6 opponents.

Robertson v Everton

Liverpool face Everton in Gameweek 6 and the player that could benefit from that is £6.9m defender Robertson. Although it has been a tough start for both Robertson and his FPL owners, his nine points in Gameweek 4 is an example of his potential.

We can see below that in the last eight matches against his upcoming opponent he has returned points in five of those matches. His FPL success against Everton comes from his three clean sheets, three assists and a goal.

Salah v Everton

Joining his team-mate Robertson is premium midfielder £13m Salah. In his previous seven matches the Egyptian hit a 15-point haul along with four single digit points returns. Those points consist of four goals and one assist.

Harry Kane v Fulham

£11.4m Tottenham striker continues his great form this season with three consecutive returns in FPL. The forward faces newly promoted team Fulham in Gameweek 6. We can see that Kane has a phenomenal record against newly promoted sides.

In his last 24 meetings against promoted teams Kane has collected points in a whopping 17 matches. With five double digit hauls, 23 goals and three assists it could be a great time to own him in FPL.
