LiveFPL Gameweek 28 Deadline: Ownership and Chips
LiveFPL provides fantastic detail regarding player ownership, chip usage and captaincy. As a result, this is what Gameweek 28 looks like.
LiveFPL: Top 10k Ownership
Only Mohamed Salah tops 100% effective ownership (EO) amongst the top 10k, which is impressive considering he plays once in a Double Gameweek. It’s a surprise to see defender Joao Cancelo all the way down at 28.41%, as Raphinha is the second player in over 80% of teams.
What makes this Double Gameweek fascinating is how spread out captaincy is. Amongst the elite, five men are captained by between 12% and 22%. These are Antonio Rudiger, Raphinha, Reece James, Salah and Philippe Coutinho.
LiveFPL: Chip Usage
Over 30% of the top 10k activated their Wildcard this week. As Blank Gameweek 30 is now finalised, the path is clearer through these next few rollercoaster weeks. Many have used Bench Boost because eight sides are playing twice.
LiveFPL: Gameweek Wildcards
As 3,129 of the top 10,000 have wildcarded, it’s interesting to see the template. The majority own Salah, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Raphinha and Armando Broja, with over 150% EO of Chelsea defenders. Furthermore, over 90% own an Arsenal defensive asset and 99% have an Aston Villa midfielder via either Coutinho or Jacob Ramsey.
Looking wider at Wildcards throughout all ranks, there is very little difference in personnel. It’s just in goal, with Jose Sa over Martin Dubravka, and faith being kept in Cancelo.
Only Salah has overall Wildcard ownership that exceeds 63%, as managers use this final straight to take bigger risks.
