FPL GW25 Transfers In/Out: Villa assets and the race to sign Salah

A look at which Fantasy Premier League (FPL) players have had the most transfers in and out this Gameweek so far.

FPL TRANSFERS

Aston Villa pair Philippe Coutinho and Jacob Ramsey hauled in midweek, encouraging FPL managers to invest. Especially before meetings with Newcastle and Watford. The Brazilian has already risen in price twice in the last three nights and has four goal involvements from just 172 minutes.

At £4.7m Ramsey could cause FPL managers a headache. He is priced like a fifth midfielder but has the form of someone unbenchable.

Mohamed Salah played half an hour against Leicester on Thursday. In that time he missed a couple of big chances. Managers will now have to weigh up whether they buy him now or wait until Double Gameweek 26.

There were several stand-out performances at St James’ Park for Newcastle’s 3-1 win over Everton. However, Allan Saint-Maximin was particularly eye-catching.

In a landscape with few appealing FPL forwards, ASM passes the eye test. He has two goals plus an assist from his last four matches. Neal Maupay plays twice in Gameweek 25, explaining his spot as fifth most-bought.

As for sales, Mason Mount continues to be sold as Chelsea have a second straight Blank Gameweek. Bernardo Silva – one involvement in Man City’s last 24 goals – and Michail Antonio, with just two goals from 15 games, are also popular sells.

Almost 80,000 have sold Diogo Jota, although this was presumably before his 16-point haul against Leicester. It’s assumed that his place in the starting XI is less guaranteed, now that Roberto Firmino has healed, Luis Diaz has signed and AFCON players have returned. If he keeps scoring, it’ll be hard for Jurgen Klopp to drop him.
