X FPL Statistics for 2019/20

The community have provided XI Fantasy Premier League statistics to help with your FPL planning.

These combine FPL statistics, with OPTA data to help you make more informed decisions.

Make sure that you join the community in our Mini League. To be a part of The FF Community Shield, with scoring from Gameweek 1, manually enter our league code: gim566.

I) Gooner

Some of our favourite strikers don’t have the kindest opening schedule but fear not, these statistics from Gooner FPL will give you hope. Barnes, Vardy and Jimenez all have great records.

II) Geek

FPL Geek has done some in depth analysis on home and away performances from some of our favourite outfield players. There’s some interesting results here to match to the fixtures.

III) Editor

The FPL Editor delves into the assist statistics, looking at attempted and expected assists. Maddison tops the charts, with Fraser not far behind – they beat more premium options.

IV) Gnar

Gnar takes the VAR debate in reverse by studying which goalkeepers are most capable of providing us with penalty save points. It could be worth targeting in the opening weeks.

With VAR incoming, there’s been a lot of focus on penalty takers. But I haven’t seen too much on goalkeepers.

VII) Surgery

IX) Reuser

Expected goals is one of the statistics that’s controversial within the community. Reuser uses Opta data to look at individual players from each club in this Twitter thread.

Adam Hopcroft studies shot conversion rates, taking a larger sample size from the last couple of season. It’s Jamie Vardy who leads the way with his clinical finishing.
