XI FPL Statistics for 2019/20


The community have provided XI Fantasy Premier League statistics to help with your FPL planning.

These combine FPL statistics, with OPTA data to help you make more informed decisions.

FPL Prize League

I) Gooner

Some of our favourite strikers don’t have the kindest opening schedule but fear not, these statistics from Gooner FPL will give you hope. Barnes, Vardy and Jimenez all have great records.

II) Geek

FPL Geek has done some in depth analysis on home and away performances from some of our favourite outfield players. There’s some interesting results here to match to the fixtures.

III) Editor

The FPL Editor delves into the assist statistics, looking at attempted and expected assists. Maddison tops the charts, with Fraser not far behind – they beat more premium options.

IV) Gnar

Gnar takes the VAR debate in reverse by studying which goalkeepers are most capable of providing us with penalty save points. It could be worth targeting in the opening weeks.

V) Secrets

FPL Secrets fuels the premium defender debate by showcasing the combined return rates from last seasons. It’s Liverpool top of the chart, with Manchester City, Everton and Chelsea assets not far behind.

VI) Nymfria

FPL Nymfria looks at all the key statistics from pre-season in preparation for our Fantasy Premier League 2019/20 planning. It’s important to consider both form and fixtures.

VII) Surgery

FPL Surgery scoop James Yorke from StatsBomb on their latest podcast to gather some in-depth insight on statistics which are useful to inform FPL decisions.

VIII) Salah

FPL Salah brings some early bookies odds for the season by considering the potential Golden Boot winner. It’s Harry Kane who tops the rankings, despite struggling last season.

IX) Reuser

Expected goals is one of the statistics that’s controversial within the community. Reuser uses Opta data to look at individual players from each club in this Twitter thread.

X) Hopcroft

Adam Hopcroft studies shot conversion rates, taking a larger sample size from the last couple of season. It’s Jamie Vardy who leads the way with his clinical finishing.

XI) Hub

Fantasy Football Hub bring plenty of excellent statistics this season using their powerful Opta data tables and tools. It’s Aubameyang who had the most big chances last season, with some mid-priced options emerging.
