World Cup Fantasy how to gain rank in Matchday 7
We have arrived at the last round of the World Cup. This means there is only one more round in World Cup Fantasy. We bring in International expert @FPLReaction (Louis) to share his thoughts on how managers can gain rank in Matchday 7.
World Cup Fantasy managers have one last shot at trying to gain rank or get ahead of their mini league rivals. Knowing how to gain rank in Matchday 7 can be absolutely vital to do that. @FPLReactions provides ways we can do exactly that.
Croatia v Morocco
This is probably the match to invest in for rank gains. Many within the community are very likely to have heavy investment in France and Argentina. There are a few ways managers could go different in this one and not just individual players, but groups of players in defence and attack. Below are ways I think managers can gain rank:
- Heavy investment on the Morocco defence (two/three defenders, or the goalkeeper and one or two defenders).
- Heavy investment in the Morocco attack (two attackers).
- Heavy investment in the Croatia defence (two/three defenders, or the goalkeeper and one or two defenders,
- Investing in the Croatian attack, that are not Ivan Perisic or Luka Modric.
- Captaining anyone that is not Ivan Perisic, like Achraf Hakimi, Sofiane Boufal or Luka Modric.
Argentina v France
This could be a tough match to try to gain rank from. Most will be heading into this game with two or three defenders from each team, so it could be wise to avoid being in the same position if looking to gain rank. Here are several ways I think we can gain rank between these teams.
- Investing in Angel Di Maria if fit could be beneficial.
- There is huge risk in this but not captaining Lionel Messi or Kylian Mbappe is another way to try to gain rank here.
- Dropping Lionel Messi or Kylian Mbappe is also a huge risk but managers could select Antoine Griezmann, Olivier Giroud or Julian Alavrez instead. This move could even give you room for two of these players.
