@FPLReaction (Louis)
Fantasy Football Scout and Fantasy Football Community contributor @FPLReaction (Louis) felt disappointed with Ismailla Sarr this week. Many, like Louis, were interested in the Sarr ahead of Matchday 2.
Sarr failed to return anything significant in Matchday 2 even though Senegal scored three goals against Qatar. Matchday 3 came along and Sarr scored a penalty against Ecuador to help them secure advancement to the next round.
@FPL_Atoms
@FPL_Atoms highlighted another appealing World Cup Fantasy asset ahead of Matchday 3. Memphis Depay failed to start any of the Netherlands matches in Matchday 1 and Matchday 2 but started in Matchday 3.
Depay started the game against a woeful Qatar and many within the community were interested. The Dutch striker managed an assist, but it should have been more as the striker missed chance after chance to score his first goal of the tournament.
@FF_EyeTest
Aritavo mentioned one player who has been relentless in his current World Cup Fantasy campaign. Netherlands have progressed to the next round of the World Cup but have had to rely on striker Cody Gakpo for their goals.
Gakpo has been fantastic during the tournament and that is reflected in his numbers. The striker has scored goals in his three consecutive matches now making him the joint third highest scoring striker in World Cup Fantasy.
@FPLgalaxyzm
FPL Galaxy picked out some huge World Cup Fantasy successes this week. One of those returners was none other than England midfielder Phil Foden. Foden failed to start any of the first two matches but that changed in Matchday 3.
Phil Foden was brilliant against Wales, especially in the second half. The midfielder created an assist and scored in Matchday 3, taking his total to a massive 12 points for the current round. There could, however, be risk with Foden moving forward as England have several in-form attacking players.
