Notes
- I’m currently inside the top 1k which is fine. But, I think I want to push as high as possible, so I’m going for an aggressive approach.
- One of the best ways to gain rank in any final like this is to back one defence and back it big. I’m in two minds with this. I think either way I want to stack up on a defence, it’s just whether that is England or Spain.
- As much as I want England to win this, I think Spain are just far too good, which makes me think I should back a Spain defensive stack.
- For those who aren’t sure what a stack is, it’s where you bring in a number of players from one team. In my case I’ll be going for five Spain defensive assets (four defenders and goalkeeper). I’ll also captain either Olga or Batlle which would take me up to six clean sheet returns.
- In the Club World Cup final, and previous five Champions League finals, a team has kept a clean sheet, so I’m certain this is the route I want to take.
- I’m on the fence on whether to play a back five or four. Owning five Spain defensive players means I’ll only have room for three more. With that in mind, I think Caldentey, Bonmati and Putellas will stay.
- That means I have to have three England players. Because I’ll need at least one forward I’ll have to go for Russo. I’ll also probably stick with Stanway. For my final England asset I’ll either go with a defender or midfielder. That should be either Williamson/Bronze or Ella Toone. I could even go for England hero Chloe Kelly up front.
- I still have decisions to finalise though: Captain a Spain defender or go for Putellas? Which third England asset to start?
- Keeping an eye on the line-ups could be absolutely key, so make sure you are around.
- One thing I can guarantee, I’ll be going out with a bang or a whimper with a full stack.
- Good luck!
